Need help with link

Link has always been my main in all games but I have never been competitive until recently.
I need to know how to up my game with link and preferably play styles against certain characters. I can wave dash to pick up bananas and drop bombs on platforms to where they don't explode, and I do know about link's kill moves.

I just need help making my game better especially at spacing

I'd recommend working on fundamentals first, make sure you know Link's timing and spacing. You can watch some other Link's in action here, or look at this thread to get a better idea of Link's match ups.
