Need help with down air

Hey guys,
Like the title says im looking for ways to perform down air with no landing lag.
I know a way is to do a full hop and perform dair right after and dont fast fall.
Anyone knows a way to perform it with double jumps consistently?

What I do to get a consistent full hop with dair so that the animation cancels is that I have jump bound to one of the bumpers or triggers, and immediately after I press and hold my jump button, I flick down on the c-stick. Same thing should apply for double jumps.

Otherwise, there is no early window to cancel dair landing lag.
