Please post anything that will help my bro to become competative.

it takes more than just knowing how to play, it takes experience and hard work to be competitively good. Hard experience is the only way to be good. Only way to get good it brawl a lot. That's the only way to learn. All we can give you is tips on what to do to.

A vague question on what do i do is different for each and every character. And since this is doubles its even more different!

But best combo for pikachu in teams. Either knock someone into Pikachu's thunder or have pikachu thunder someone you send flying up for vertical kills. Excellent combo i'd say. Also this depends on friendly fire being on or not =\

Friendly fire will be on.

Anways do you have any other tips. I myself am a Wolf mainer and I'm making Fox my secondary right now. My bro on the other hand has decided to main Pikachu, so he wants to know all of the skills and other techniques he needs to learn to master Pikachu.

Just follow the grime...
I agree with the thunder combo. He should also learn to chaingrab with pikachu (thow may not be quite as good in doubles)... QuACing would be useful, there are plenty of threads on it. He should also work on becoming confidant with pikachu's aerials.

Since its doubles and he's not really looking to perfect a good pikachu -

He should work on full-hop neutral b spamming and dsmashing.

also shield to dsmash and catching people with thunder.

That's about it. Maybe also how to sweetspot nair?

A good match up with Pikachu as a tag team battle (2v2 I would persume) is to usually team up with a high knock back character such as IKE or SNAKE. In this tactic, get pikachu to run up to opponents and do Smash Down A while the other person charges for a smash. In doing so, the smash attack gives higher priority to Pikachu and sends your opponent flying.
For more safe measures. Deploy Pikachu to repeatedly Down A and get Fox to spam B on them.
If it's an airgame, get pikachu to do BAir (the spin), enforcing low damage but dragging opponents down to the ground to get your other partner ready for a death blow to the opponent.
Basically, Pikachu is a support character for other characters to deal the final blow. Pikachu can do kills when opponents are in the air and then Thundering them. But becomes a nuisence when dealing with Ness, Lucas, Fox, Falco or Wolf as they can either absorb the energy to heal or reflect and hit it back to Pikachu.

It is not recommended but try not to get 2 Pikachus on the same team. Your tactics will be very similar and your opponents will be able to recognize your patterns easily and make evasive maneuvers accordingly.

Hope this helps ^_^

Pikachu was designed to be a character with a relatively low learning curve, so he's pretty easy to use. In other words, they intentionally made it so that there's not much to him, so don't overthink things too much. I'll try to post a video of me playing as him on YouTube to help your brother out. I'll alert you when it's on there (is Friday or Saturday okay?). I'll say this, though; his Final Smash, Volt Tackle, does take a good amount of practice to get the hang of.

I also recommend that your brother learns to get back on the stage with the foward-b and qiuck attack, it would be pointless to have a person on your team that cant get back on stage.

I'm sorry, I'm going to have to cancel the video. I actually took the time to read the whole thing, and it said "tagteam". I, unfortunately, know nothing about tagteam matches, so I'll try to give some tips here. The only thing you need to know is how to handle his Volt Tackle. Hold the "A" button down while using it to generate more sparks. This gives it more power, better control, more range, and more knockback. It take practice to handle. Don't jerk it every which way; just try to move slowly and accurately. If it gets out of control, let it travel in a circle for 1-2 seconds, then jerk it in the opponent's direction to get back on track. His physical and aerial attacks and projectiles are weak, so team him up with a strong, projectile-based fighter. Good suggestions are Ness, any of the Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon, Lucario, Lucas, Zelda, Link, Toon Link, and R.O.B. . Try to knock your opponents into his Volt Tackle or Thunder.
