When I try to moonwalk with falcon I end up in the position i started at. Do i have to be moving the control stick even faster to go further?

Need advice on increasing moonwalk

With moonwalking (I'm just learning it too but I'm starting to get it) the faster the better. Like when you think you are going too fast, you need to move it faster to go further. If you solely play PM falcon you can just learn the C-stick moonwalk, it's frame perfect and way easier but I like both games so I'm learning the more difficult (original) way of doing it. RAR + c-stick moonwalk pretty much cover both the useful and stylish uses of moonwalking though so it shouldn't be too much of a priority for PM!
