Well there's a little more than the title states. I've been searching the boards and google for about a day now and I can't quite find the solution to my problem. Now for what I am doing correctly; I'm no newbie to homebrew/gecko/modding, so I have all of this on my Wii just fine.

The issue is, I'm trying to use a basic texture/music pack simply for the fun of it. The one I'm using can be found at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pyx2U2Ff3EI Masterlinkx's Custom Brawl Pack

I'm using the right code files, such as Patch v3.5.1 and such. What happens is, I'll activate all the codes in my .txt/.gct but the only ones that end up working are the character select codes (seperate Zelda/Shiek/PT) and the unrestrained camera/replay codes. What doesn't work is the textures, music, or even the boot strap screen. My game doesn't freeze at all, so I know I'm doing something right.

I have my SD card setup correctly with the .gct ending up in //:SD/codes, the pacs and pcs' are all in /private/wii/app/RSBE with the folders AY, pf, pfmenu2, rp, and st. I've made sure common3.pac has no _en in it, and all the music files are in strm.

If someone could cooperate with me on figuring this out through a few posts, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Additional info: Please note I AM using a 4GB SDHC card, I know they're iffy but I assume it shouldn't be the issue if Gecko runs the other codes just fine. I'm running a downgraded Black Wii 4.1U, Gecko 19.3.1, Darkcorp'd with priiloader. I even have my system menu as DarkWii and a replaced health screen.

So it's true that the SDHC actually does prevent the textures/sounds/etc from going through? Ew. :| Alright, I'll grab up and test a normal SD card and get back to here with my results then.

Cool beans, we're all fixed. The only issue now is a common one, I freeze at SSS, lmfao. I don't want to get rid of the textures so I'll look around some more for it.
