need a little help on catching rayquaza,and finding latios

ok lemme put down the history on what happend...

magneton used thunderwave
rayquaza is now paraylyzed
rayquaza used extremespeed
magneton used thunderbolt

....

now rayquza health is low,

go ultra ball

oh no it came out

rayquaza used outrage
magneton faints
go swampert
go ultra ball
the ball doesnt bump once
oh no it came out
rayquza used outrage
go ultra ball
bump 2 time
argh,it was close too
rayquaza get confused and KO itself
teeman turned the GBA off,and groans in frustration

Okay that was...yeah. Anyways, the only thing I did was put it to sleep and threw two ultra balls without weakining it at all(I never weaken Legendarys)and caught it on the second one...I don't know if that helps but try.

For Latios, be near to route borders and switch routes and keep looking at you map. When you switch and it is on your spot, try and catch it. Again, I only threw one Ultra ball at Latias(Sapphire)and caught it.

...That's how I caught my Rayquaza, anyways. I haven't caught Latios yet, though.

Like Creos said, try to put it to sleep and throw Ultra Balls.

No, it's something you get after you get the National Dex. Ditto isn't the Pokemon you're missing, since he isn't in the Sinnoh Dex.

I got my Rayquaza without damaging it. I just bought 20-something Ultra Balls and a whole crapload of Timer Balls. Throw a ball every turn; start with Ultra, then eventually move on the Timer. It worked for me.

For my Latios, I used that E-Reader card that came in a Nintendo Power.

Yeah, but it learns Hypnosis at level 51.

You could also get a Shroomish to learn Spore at level 54.

That would be easy. Give EXP share, fight strong dudes and don't evolve Shroomish. No time at all.
