This thread is to list some places in the game where you can land a knee on someone standing without having to fast fall/edit your height.
On Yoshi Story, if someone is standing on the bottom platforms, you can short hop knee them. Its useful, because they don't expect it.
The same on Dream Land 64, but on the top platform from either bottom platform. just short hop under and knee the person standing on the top one.
You guys know any more?

I think it is also about not landing on the platform you are kneeing the person from , since that gives a lot of negative defensive options Quic :p

Correct me if im wrong , but when shorthop kneeing from ground on platfrom on YS u will be landing on the common floor am I right/

Also it can shieldstab the person when he uses his shield , like hitting him just under his sheild ^^

I know that Jeap, if you full jump from bottom of the stage on Yoshi's you don't land on the platform when you knee(maybe if you jump backwards you would, but if you just jump normally you don't)

I thought it was something like: ( on top platform YS from floor )

no landing-> full jump nothing

landing:->

full jump backwards
full jump knee
full jump nair
full jump uair
full jump dair
full jump bair.

I currently do not have my ssbm disc at home, someone look it up for me please? Dx

It depends on when you knee during the fulljump. I believe early knee will prevent you from landing on the platform.

you could in the end...just uair if people are standing on platforms...
Up-air is fine sometimes, but it doesn't kill nearly as early as the knee does. Sometimes a shieldstab knee below a platform takes off a stock a half minute early, which ends up doing a lot in the long run.

Before breakfast.
Three times a day (make sure you brush once before bed too)

everytime the knee comes out should be a natural knee point.

otherwise u're not manly enough for falcon.

if someone's on a platform (any stage), u just run, fullhop+knee and ull hit whoever that is standing on the platform.

i like doing it a lot in teams. cause u just need to run a few seconds and just full jump knee into him.

not really a natural knee point but its easy to knee someone on a platform like that.

I do recall that it -might- be possible on Battlefield. I sear I've seen it done before, but no real guarantees. Sadly...my friends only play on FD...so I don't get to see much platform stages, except against CPUs. QQ

knees/dairs that are done right after the jump (that also arent fastfell) can hit the second platforms on BF, for sure. you just have to be aligned with the opponent when it hits, when you dont need so much accuracy on PS or YS.

if anyone could give some neat tricks you can do with the side platforms on FoD on their various levels, would be nice, such as some autoledgecancel situations if you jump->directional key in a certain direction from a spot on the stage.

I do recall the lower levels of platform on FoD you can use G-Regulate's Falcon Punch Combo on spacies who are standing under if you stomp them from above.
