Nana does not lead this team!bug?

Playing ice climbers everyone obviously knows Nana follows/snaps to popo. After 3.5 there's been rare moments where polo(me) would pull back to Nana like a rubber band. I assume this is a bug or something.

This happens when I try to moonwalk, I also noticed this. Maybe this just means more stuff to discover.....

I believe this is a side effect of the turnaround bug. What happens is turning around causes Popo to slide the wrong way and Nana is then at the front instead of the back. It's really annoying because it causes me to kill Nana sometimes when chasing off-stage because she runs off the stage before Popo jumps leaving her with 1 jump and causing the climbers to desync.
