I think that Sakurai said the characters had to originate on a video game for them to be in Brawl. I also think that there has likely been multiple topics like this made and you should try the Search button.

Not only are there many threads like this, but this one is in the wrong section! This should be in the character section, even though I think it shouldn't be anywhere at all! There will be no anime characters in Brawl. Sakurai said himself that only characters that had originated from a videogame would be in Brawl. Get your facts straight and, while you're at it, learn to look for a thread like like this for all of 30 seconds, you don't even need the search function to find a "Who do you want to be in Brawl" thread. There are so many of them so don't clutter up forum space with these useless threads! Remember, this is not GameFAQs.

did you seriously just list being "unrealistic" as a reason that a character shouldn't make it in to brawl? what are you trying to get at?

apart from that, why would you hope that a character doesn't get in? the bigger the roster the better, unless you're a selfish prick who doesn't want any character that he doesn't personally like in brawl. probably the latter.
