N64 tournaments!?!

Hey guys. I just joined the site and I see tons of tournaments for smash bros. melee, but nothing for the original (which is the only one me and my crew play). i know i can't be the only one in these forums who is loyal to the greatest video game system of all time...

so, are there any Super Smash Bros. 64 tournaments coming up in the Philly/NY/NJ area?

In ny/nj you have to talk to sensei from TSA ( my crew ) problem is many people have moved on to the new version and N64 is super hard to find unless Sensei does it...check the n64 section of the site.

what about large-scale tournaments... usually its always the most recent version, no?

i doubt there will be any large-scales for melee once brawl comes out

of course the majority of tourneys will switch to brawl. we cant all write it off yet as super slow without wavedashing yet. sure its slower than melee, but everyone is making it seem like its not a competitive game. i dont even know why ppl are still bringing up the negativeness of no wavedashing. melee tourneys will be around, but will be fairly rare.
