While I do not normally enjoy or like crude and humor exclusively based on foul language, I do find AVGN comical at times and I have to say aside from some points here and there, I have to say that over all his show is enjoyable to watch even if it is contradictorily to what I normally enjoy. One aspect of his show that I find most inserting is the fact he focuses on for the most part exclusively bad retro games (though a few times he he has played some good retro games such as Super Mario 3, Ninja Gaiden (IMO), ect.). Many of the games where rather obscure before he reviewed them (Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde, Bugs bunny birthday blow out, ect.) as well as various systems that as a semi-modern gamer (Long story) did not know much about such as the Atari jaguar, The Odyssey, and the Sega 32x add on. I do find it rather interesting learning about the systems of the old days. Even playing some of the games of old (The good ones) I find them to be fun and enjoyable even if they are though as nails inside a metallic bunker. So even if I do not enjoy the humor of the show all the time I enjoy the video gaming history lesson, and occasionally his humor as well. So that is just my thoughts on the subject, and I recommend his videos to the gamers who have not seen the videos, unless your are easily offended by foul language in that case stay away.
