Well, I have certainly noticed something about the updates from the past couple weeks. They are all just a recap of what we saw from E for All videos! Of course, this is to be expected since this new information was going to flood the Internet eventually, so he decided to get it over with and clarify things.

However, I also have noticed some other characteristics of the updates.. many of them seem to be Game Play updates. In fact, 9 out of the last 30 updates (almost 1 in every 3) have been Game Play updates, introducing several aspects to the game.

Also, he is showing off many of the special moves and final smashes of key characters... make's you wonder if he is just trying to leave no surprises for an upcoming event.

An event simply named December 3rd.
How to celebrate?
Releasing the demo version of Brawl to each person who pre-ordered the game. Some sort of certification can be received from the game store that you initially pre-ordered your game from. You get a code, and go to the Wii Shop Channel, where it is available beginning December 3rd. You enter the code, and you can play the game.

The demo would only be available for 1 WEEK as a gift in return for our patience. The contents of the demo are the same as the demo at E for All.

I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous and almost impossible, but think about it. Personally, I think this would be awesome, and easily possible for Nintendo to do.

Discussion?

I really hope you don't think you were the first to come up with this idea. This has been discussed to death.

Hell, If there even will be a Demo...I find it pointless to play it.

I'm not the type to spoil a game I've been waiting for, for a little more than 2 years.

Even if its not spoiling much...
I want to play the game fresh.

Call me crazy if you must.

I know Wii Shop Channel probably wouldn't work, but they would have to have some way of regulating a 7 day trial. Unless that can be programmed into the demo?

Somewhere, most likely existent
What about the people who just DON'T preorder games? That would suck for them. >_> If there is a demo, it should either be mailed with NP issues or downloadable to all for a price (500-1000 points).

Also, a timed demo would suck completely, especially if it was the E For all one. C'mon. Having it set to ONLY two minute matches is "timed" enough.

I personally wouldn't mind 2 minute matches. It's better than not playing the game at all!

I need to subscribe to Nintendo Power.. now.

Why would we need to have a week regulated demo disk?
Isn't that the point of a demo? you have a small portion of a game, but not the entire thing?
Just give us the E for All demo disk, with a 3 man stock battle option.

That's a good idea.
It would make money for Nintendo (which they like, obviously), and it would probably raise excitement for the actual game.

I wouldn't want a timed demo-- that'd just be plain wrong.

I don't think that they would give any of this to us, but who knows for sure? Sakurai is a very... um... "random" man.

This an "update thread" as the title implies, this is a "demo thread".

It's better that they focus on finishing the actual game instead of worrying about a demo for a game that doesn't need any more hype, which is usually the point of a demo.
