My SHL turned into a reverse SHL, and I can't turn it back!

Alright so at one point I knew how to SHL well. So I decided to try to reverse SHL and get it down. Eventually I could RSHL just as well as my SHL. But now, I've used RSHL so much that even when I try to SHL, I end up turning and shooting the opposite way!

It ends up making my Falco look ridiculous, to say the least.

Has this happened to any of you? Any solution?

Edit: Actually this happened to me last night, but it was because I smoked too much. It was hilarious though, I think I even reverse lasered off the stage a few times into sds.

Just practice and force yourself to fix it.

I believe the best way to stop it is to not jam the control stick too hard. When I jam it left or right i feel like a ricochet on the stick. (I only notice this on my brand new controller. I get zero ricochet on my old wore out one. I think it's cause the stick has less recoil due to constant play.)

i think that would help because even it you tap back, you'll tap forwards anyway. or maybe you'll tap forward instead of accidentally pressing back.

An interesting method to fix activity problems such as not getting your SHLs right is to do sh*t.
I mean when you dont sh*t you just cant do things right, so whenever a problems pops up use the answer to all; Do sh*t. (Not to confuse with 'the answer to all #2' The Knee)
