Growing up, the fighting game I loved and played the most was Soul Caliber 2 (PS2), I loved the Soul Caliber series in general, and have played every game until four (Do not have an X-box). I first encountered smash at the age of 6-8ish when I visited a friends house and they had a Nintendo 64. At the time I was restricted to one consul per counsel generation, or I had to pay for it my self (Was a little kid with no money, and I already had a Playstation at the time, not that I regret that, I love the Playstation). We where kind of poor back then. It was not until around the age of 14ish that I got my own Nintendo 64 (And Super Smash Bros.), the neighbor next door broke it and gave the damaged counsel away to us for free. My not then but would be in the later step father fixed it, at the time he worked in the arcade (He works at a different one now, as the tech manager) he is brilliant with machines. From then to 2006ish I had only played the original smash, it was not till my cousins came over with the NGC during Christmas that they came down with their Super Smash Bros Melee (Later they would come down with Brawl when they got a wii). That was the only time till May of 2009 that I played any smash outside of the original. Though I love Melee, soul caliber and the original smash, and a few other fighting games I have played (Thought those are the ones I played on a regular bases).

Recently I got a craving, I wanted something new something different. I love those fighting games but I want more fighting games that I might love, I want more experience with new stuff. I posted that on the smash boards what are some good fighter games here are the systems I own/Emulate...

Wii, NGC, PS1, PS2, SNES, PC, NES, and Dream Cast.

Now after posting I have scene tried out Tatsunoko vs Capcom (LOVE IT!) and I have Guilty gear XX accent core arriving in the mail any day now. I really enjoyed Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and I want more fighting games that have a similar new fresh experience. I have already posted in the LH thread about what games should I get about this subject, I do not wish to keep bugging them so I put what I am wishing into a blog, what are some great fighter games for any of the systems which I have access to? Any and all recommendations would be helpful.

MvC and MVC2 even though the disc game for 2 is pricey. Bloody Roar series, Powerstone 1&2, Soulblade and Soul Caliber 1, the battle arena toshinden series for the PS1, CvS 2, Street Fighter series , Ehrgeiz if you like Final Fantasy 7 cause some characters are in there, KOF series on the PS1 and PS2, Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum, Mortal Kombat series, Rival Schools 1&2, Samurai Showdown series, Darkstalker Series, War of the Monsters, DBZ budokai and budokai Tenkaichi series if you like DBZ, Virtual Fighter 4 seeing as how it's on PS2 and that's all I know of for you.
