Alright, so I started downloading some stuff to get into Brawl-. I went here: http://smashmods.com/forum/page/bminstall.html

I followed their instructions as best as I could, but when I go to the custom stage menu it just takes me to the empty menu.

I did put the SD card in the wii before switching over to test it, and I did delete my custom stages.

In the folder, I have BrawlMinus_Beta1.6, the private folder from Smash stack, and the boot.elf they supplied on Brawl-. All folders have been extracted.

If I had to guess, I messed up somewhere on these last couple of steps:

Step 3: Download Gecko OS 1.9.3.1, and instead of putting it in apps, put the boot.elf file in your SD card root.

Step 4: Download the stack smash stage. Go to /private/wii/app/RSBE/st/, and remove all stages in there - copy them to your computer if you want to keep them saved. Then, put the stack smash stage in that folder.

Could I get some help, please? It's appreciated. I have no clue what went wrong.

EDIT: And try to give me a break, I'm new to the modding thing. xD

Nobody cares :(
I'm not positive whats wrong, but in the stage builder screen at the bottom try to switch it from wii stages to SD card stages? That could be the problem, also make sure that gecko OS isn't in any folder on you sd card and that you don't have any stages on your wii either. Also on some computers show that stack smash stage may need to be extracted but t doesn't need to if it has the .bin file extension.

Also sorry if my response is a bit confusing.

It won't let me switch to SD card stages. It says it's unable to save to/load from the SD card. (It's a PNY Optima. It should work, right?)

The gecko OS isn't in the SD card, only its boot.elf, which is in the root as directed. And I deleted my custom stages already.

EDIT: Okay, after doing it over again several times, this is what happens.

I got the /codes and /private folders from the Brawl Minus download. I also got the gameconfig text document.
I replaced the GCT file as it said in the directions, and put the gecko boot.elf file in the SD card. Nothing else. Then I put the smash stack stage in /private where they told me to.

However, when I put the card in my wii, when I get to stage manager, it loads longer than usual. Then it takes me to the normal stage manager, where there are no stages.

EDIT: I may have solved this. I'm using a 4GB SDHC. >_< Apparently only 2GB SD cards are compatible with Brawl. SO I will edit my post here if it solves my problem. I hope it does.
