Ages upon ages ago, I started a thread where we talked about potential music in Brawl, what stages it would accompany, the game it was from, and why we would want it in. Sadly, that thread is dead and gone (I can find it but not open it.) But, in celebration of the announcement of my music, and the joy it brings me to learn of the enormous amount of music that will be in the game, It gives me great pleasure to create a thread where you can show people the music you want in Brawl.

But what do you mean by "show" D_King?

Well, I'll tell you. In order to tell people what you want, you have to give them the oppertunity to listen to it. Just link the pages with the music back here. It's hard to describe a song. But with the site listed below, it's easy to allow others to listen.

Copy and paste this> http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks.php

Then click on "Click here" to open the song. Don't link directly as the links won't work the following day. Anyone who remembers the original thread knows how much of a pain in the butt that was.

On this page, you can find just about any music to any game you can imagine. Find it, post it here along with a description and some history, and you're on your way. I encourage everyone to post, listen, and critique.

So without further Adieu, I present MY top 5 picks for Brawl!

1. Star Wolf's theme (Star Fox Assault)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/1562/68

Ah yes. My number 1 theme. It has so much potential as it is by nature, battle music. Reworking isn't necessary but may fuel the already epic flow of the music that creates both an epic and adrenaline filled atmosphere. It's a well known theme, first appearing in Star Fox 64, and anyone who played SF64, Assault, or Command probably remembers this tune. It's awfully hard to forget it!

2. Taking over the Halberd (Kirby's Super Star)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/5547/10

The DEFINITIVE Meta-Knight theme. A fast high energy and chaotic theme, that suits the very nature of the game well. Untouched, this song is a masterpiece. Aided by an orchestra, this theme could be an anthem in the world of Kirby and Nintendo alike. The Halberd has already been confirmed as a stage, so why leave out a track that made the Halberd so unforgettable in the first place.

3. Tal Tal Mountain Range (Link's Awakening)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/681/68

This track, especially with the instrumental limitations of the game boy, was by far one of the most memorable themes in Zelda history, and that's saying a lot. Spawning TWO remixes on OC remix is quite a feat for a gameboy game. However, it's potential after being played by an entire orchestra makes me want this game in Brawl all the more. It's sure to be epic! (thanks to kaburii for his research. This song has NOT been confirmed yet.)

4. Marble Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/161/3

In the highly likely event that Sonic is included in Brawl, I deeply want this song in Brawl. Though Green Hill Zone is probably the more popular song of the two, the Marble Zone is the better song in my opinion. Anyone who played the original Sonic the Hedgehog will instantly recognize this timeless tune, and with a bit of updating, many others who never played a Sonic game in thier lives will instantly realize how good the Sonic music used to be.

5. Bloody Tears (Castlevania II)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/1339/2

Though the probability of Simon Belmont... or anyone else from the Castlevania series is slim, it would be obvious to include this song in the gam. it has been a pinnacle of the Castlevania series for years (originating in Haunted Castle, and later Castlevania II) and constantly appears in sequals and spin-offs. Even to this day. The catchy yet dark melody of the song makes it easy to understand why konami feels it is still worthy to grace most of the Castlevania games. Hopefully, Nintendo will realize why it deserves to grace Brawl.

So there you have it. My top five picks. Feel free to comment or post your own lists. If for some reason, you can't find a good MP3 of a song you want, I also reccomend going to vgmusic.com and ocremix.org. Or ask around! SOMEONE should know where your music is!

I can already guarantee that this one's a shoe-in for Meta's theme.;)

The My Music update made me giddy as a school girl! so, I'm going to give my top 4 music picks, as well as the style I would preferably like it remixed in. Alright! here we GO!

#4; GOAL & SCORE (Yoshi's Island)

I think this has major potential. it's energetic and cheerful, perfect for those more colourful and happy stages; and it's catchy melody is unforgetable to any fan of Yoshi's Island. it's current genre is a perfect fit as is, so all it really needs is to be orchestrated to make it longer.

#3; BOWSER'S THEME (Various Mario games)

this, in my opinion, should be on everyones list. it's Bowser's theme; that alone should be enough to warrant it's inclusion. however, it's also perfect for Brawl. it has an intense, battle oriented sound, and would be perfect for darker, more evil feeling stages. I would think a heavy metal version would suit it well; very fitting of Bowser, and the sound of the song.

#2; KING DEDEDE'S THEME (Various Kirby games)

With King Dedede being pretty much a given for Brawl, his theme shouldn't be far behind. this is a magnificent battle theme that would be perfect in Brawl. this well know fight theme is rarely surpassed when it comes to catchy-ness, nor when it comes to capturing the feel of battle. it's current sound is perfect! it shouldn't be changed that much.

#1; RIDE INTO THE SUNSET (aka. Revenge of Meta Knight ending)

most people who have seen my posts in any of the "what music do you want?" threads, probably saw this one coming. this is, by far, my favorite ending theme. ever. along with Meta Knight's inclusion, we should get a suitable theme for him. most people may think that "duel with Mata Knight" would be a better theme; but I think this fits Meta Knight's style more. Duel with Meta knight is far to dark and chaotic to be Meta knights theme. Meta Knight is generally cool, calm and mysterious; which Ride into the sunset gives a feeling of. Duel gives the impression that Meta Knight is evil, which is isn't (dispite his several apearences as a boss). the style of it should remain the same. it's perfect the way it is, and the fact that it's jazzy it one of the main reasons why I love it.

there you have it! my top 4!

You don't have to save them. You just have to open them.

@Andrew14j

I love the Golden Sun Music! I like all of your choices, but especially like the Colosso Battle theme, and the Venus Lighthouse.

@T-Major

Good choices all around. King Dedede's theme and Bowser's theme are my favorite. The only problem is, your Yoshi's theme is a link to the Bowser's theme. You need to fix it before anyone else can listen to it.

Corneria: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mn5ZKiR0us8

Starfox has some of the best dogfight battle music and the original Corneria just shines in my eyes

Fountain of Dreams: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A-tJT6tqlw

I loved this song from SSBM, what aint don't fix right?

Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie battle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h27rZTb8Nmw

This is just a cool battle theme,. I use to search out Mesprit and just let my Ds play the music. When I finally caught him, I was happy and sad all at the same time.

RSE elite four:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRFBoTBRx8w

It might seem generic at first, but I dig the hand clapping mix

DKC Fear Factory: For this song go down to Donkey kong and click the first Fear factory
http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/index-af.html

Where most songs tell of epic battles and the like, this song speaks of a different message ,"Survival of the fittest."

Now dance the night away.

To be honest, it's possible that this track has already been confirmed in Brawl under the name "The Hidden Mountains and Forests." In any case, this track, especially with the instrumental limitations of the game boy, was by far one of the most memorable themes in Zelda history, and that's saying a lot. Spawning TWO remixes on OC remix is quite a feat for a gameboy game. However, it's potential after being played by an entire orchestra makes me want this game in Brawl all the more. I did some research and that song or, 裏の山と森, is most definately the song that plays when you enter the Lost Woods and Death Mountain in the Dark World in A Link to the Past. :)

I'd LOVE to see Captain K. Rools final boss theme for Donkey Kong Country.

Also a remix of the carnival music from Donkey Kong Country 2.

I'll bathe someone in love if they find these two songs for me.

Thanks for the info. I'm a little disappointed but it's still a good song nonetheless. And just because the Tal Tal Mountain range isn't confirmed doesn't mean it won't be in brawl.

I did notice that the Dark World and the Hidden Mountains and forest are right next to each other. Maybe this means the Music will be organized by game.

I'm so happy that the Dark World music is going to be in! That was like the only other song I wanted in other then the Golden Sun songs. ^_^

The Dark World theme is just awesome.

I also hope Fountain of Dreams returns. That song/piece is the best. Orchestration FTW!

The songs probably will be organized like that, or the default one will be at the top of the list as we see in the Delfino stage.

Tal Tal Heights would be an awesome song for any Zelda stage. Plus, we don't know how many stages from one series there will be, so if the game lets us only choose certain songs for certain stages, then each stage will have songs depending on the mood of that stage. That's what I thought, but after looking at Delfino and seeing the Fortress theme...I doubt it.

1. Champion Battle (Pokemon Gold/Silver)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/3256/6

Has awesome Brawl potential. Hopefully they will be including songs from each of the Pokemon generation games. This one fits the mood too.

2. Brinstar Jungle Area (Super Metroid)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/179/19
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/2846/57 (Remix: Prime 2)

This song was remixed in Metroid Prime 2 for the battle mode and it sounded awesome. It sounds really nice by itself too!

3. Bowser Battle (Yoshi's Island)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/686/23

Just the opening of the song gets me. I remember fighting a giant Bowser back then...those balloons too... I requested this song too.

4. Athletic (Yoshi's Island)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/686/13

This song fits the Yoshi stage in Brawl. This song reminds me of those annoying Shyguys.

5. Overworld (Yoshi's Island)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/686/14

Another fun Yoshi song. This time watermelon-seed-spitting Monkeys come to mind.

6. Fire Field (F-Zero)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/148/14

This song can have awesome strings if remixed properly.

Rainbow Road (SNES)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/5595/13

In my opinion still the best Rainbow Road theme ever. It really has the most impact when you first see Rainbow Road anyway.

Metal Gear Solid Main Theme
http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/1036/1

It's one of the most epic theme songs of any videogame series so far, and pretty recognisable.

Airship (SMB3)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=WAulTZky6JI

Maybe hard to implement on the current confirmed stage, but it could be pretty epic if Sakurai pulls this one off.

Pokémon World

What?

As of right now, that's my most wanted Metroid song to appear in this game.

Why is this so popular again? It's nothing special imo. The Upper Brinstar theme is better, and the Lower Norfair theme is MUCH better. Actually, one of my favorite themes from Super Metroid is the music that plays during the prologue. (URG: Can't figure out how to black out spoilers) Bottom Line: Kenji Yamamoto ftw. Metroid Prime 1 didn't have the best music.

While we're on the subject of Metroid, here are some of my favorites:

The middle of nowhere, behind that dust-cloud.
What music would I prefer?

1) Rundus and/or Gandrayda's boss battle themes from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Made of win. <3

Don't download if you don't want to be... ugh... spoiled. :V

2) As for the Poke'mans... Miror B's theme from Poke'mon Colosseum.

... C'mon.

And I quite enjoyed Azelf [etc] battle theme from D/P.

3) The music from F-Zero GX is simply, well, incredible. My four favorite track themes would be Aeropolis, Port Town, Outer Space, and Green Plant. Of course, those are simply my favorites. D:

4) There are simply too many Kirby songs to list-- I enjoy the music from the Kirby series quite so. Fountain of Dreams is quite a given, and in any form [most likely both in orchestrated, like Melee and the way it was in Nightmare in Dreamland].

I'd have to look through the Sound Tests of the Kirby games I have again. Other then Fountain of Dreams, I haven't listened to the other stuff lately. But I do recall that most of the music in Kirby Air Ride, despite its overly-simplistic gameplay, was quite good.

5) For the Mario series...

Most of the Rainbow Road music, from all of the MK games, has been quite adequate. I would like to see at least one version get into this game.

Plus, the music on Waluigi's Pinball from MKDS was neat. <:

Apart from the MK series, of course, there's a wide selection of music to choose from.

I can't really post level-specific music now, as my memory is crappy. D;

But... yeah. THAT'S FOR LATER.
