I'm only harsh because I'm trying to get people to move away from viewing Luigi as "Luigi as the gimmicky, silly RNG clown" to "Luigi the solid character with a cohesive game who don't need no luck".

Have to agree with you on that, which is why I stopped playing Fox for Luigi. Gotta respect the character ykno

For the first time in tournament, last one I went to people I didn't know came up to me frightened asking if I was "that Luigi player". Feels slippery, man.

In regards to OP though, I have noticed the same thing happen to me recently. I think it's because I'm thinking of it less as an option, and like KK said I try to do things consistently so I can guarantee my kills now.
