Mario was the only character I mained in Melee (although I stopped playing Melee for a years) and I actually love him in Brawl. If you don't want to watch all of them, then don't. Anyway, here are the vids:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPZMzhJsnhU (Vs. Samus on Green Hill Zone)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ojap26jpfw (Vs. Luigi on Final Destination)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxRGHp8zq2A (Vs. Luigi on Final Destination 2)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yX7GYr8fgQ (Vs. Luigi on Shadow Moses Island)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrNvSL0-1VA (Vs. Samus on Yoshi's Island)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6KIdwUflRI (Vs. DK on Yoshi's Island)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpiFD-HsJiY (Vs. DK on Bridge of Eldin)

I'm thinking I'm not shielding or rolling enough and I don't use Mario's Dsmash or Usmash enough. I'm also trying to find some new combos to use. If you see anything else, please post. Good, bad, or just whatever comments are welcome. Thanks.

One thing I noticed is you keep going into your enemy's attacks. Be more evasive. Try to wait for openings more, then rush in. Otherwise, you have a pretty good Mario.

work on not doing useless things when you get knocked out the edge. like fludd and fairing. also work on combos with bair/uair. and keep spacing.

I would have to agree... I noticed you were running into attack more than bugs fly into light bulbs... Also learn how to edge guard more effectively.

I only watched the Luigi videos but I have to say, approach with fireballs a little more. They are better than Luigi's. Also try B-air, U-air in one short hop to approach it's pretty good. Good Mario though.

I noticed vs luigi that you connected a lot of dtilts, but didn't follow up wit an utilt. that would help a lot too. also use the dsmash! the one thing i love about the dsmash its that its more of a horizontal launcher, setting up for a capegliding barage. There was an instance in the luigi match where you tried to fsmash him, but you tunred and went through him. the dsmash would have worked perfectly in that situation. Also the dsmash and fsmash hits on both sides of mario, and since most mario players play backwards to utilize bair, it opens up your aresenal when facing the wrong way.

i hope this helps.

Pretty good. Yeah, you should be using Mario's U-smash a little more.

I mean in Brawl, you can cancel a dash with a C-sticked U-smash which causes you to slide, and Mario's U-smash is very fast + very good priority so actually it's very easy to connect with. There were a few moments where you could have easily killed your opponent if you used a running U-smash. Very good at about 150% or so undiminished.

Otherwise your Mario is pretty solid. Just I felt your opponents generally were living to rather high percents.
