My Intro to smashboards

Hi everyone,

I've been a smash and Nintendo fan for the majority of my life. I've always been interested into the competitive smash scene and decided to give smashboards a go. I'm looking to play mostly smash ultimate as of right now, as that's the game I have been playing casually out of all the smash games. My main right now is Ridley, but I also like to play Palutena, ROB, Lucina, Pikachu, Captain Falcon, Fox, and Shulk.

I currently live in the state of Wisconsin and am attending college right now, but I plan to play ultimate a lot more after the semester is done. I feel like a problem of mine is that I haven't really seen a lot of competitive smash going on in the state. I could easily be wrong about this, but I'd always be willing to meet people who are into smash and live close by.

Aside from smash, my favorite Nintendo franchises are F Zero, Mario Kart, and StarFox. I also like watching and playing sports as my hobby, which fuels my competitive nature.

I'm looking forward to meeting some of you guys and hope that I can build something enjoyable here.
