My friend can't play Samurai Warriors 3, could Homebrew channel be the problem?

My friend just picked up SW3 but his Wii won't run it for some reason. His problems are summed up here. Sorry if this is incomplete or I'm missing some information, he sent me a text asking to post for help here while he's at work.

It has nothing to do with homebrew. Hell, it isn't even software at all. The wii has a crappy disc reader (I've had mine replaced 3 times goddammit.) So it's natural for it to stop working.

My advice, if you have a big enough usb drive (or enough money for one, at the least 10GB) use a USB loader. Faster load times, less hassle. Don't ask about it here though and don't blame me if you brick. If you want to go through with it go to this tutorial.

[please don't link to USB loaders]

If the game is dual-layered, I have that problem too. My Wii won't pick up dual-layered discs, but other games play fine.

There's not much we can do about non-Brawl games, sorry.

Please ask on other sites like GBATemp, thanks!
