My first texture, plus a question

Well here it is, my first texture:

I know it's not spectacular, I just wanted to do something to sort of figure out how this stuff works and all, and I figured why not do it with Diddy since I can't find any textures of him that I like. My only real goal was to work my shoes in there somehow (http://greenjar.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/33.jpg) and I'd say it was pretty successful

Now for my question: How do I edit things that aren't in the character's .pac file? I'd like to edit Diddy's gun, peanuts, and bananas but I don't know how. I'd also liek to know how to change Marth's slash colors. Anyone care to explain that to me, or direct me to a link that does that?

Peanuts and bananas are items and not part of the actual character. You need to edit the item.pac files. Not sure about the popgun.

Weapon trails and such are in the 'effect' folder. Other character textures/effects can be found in the 'MotionEtc.pac' file for that character.

The popgun is not an item. It is an effect file hence FitMotion thing
