I say it's my first team, but really I've been revising it off and on since I got Pearl last summer. I think I've hit a decent balance now and I'd like it rated.

Also, this is an in-game team so please keep that in mind.

Bronzong @ Shed Shell
Sassy
Levitate
252 HP/86 Atk/80 Def/92 SpD
0 Spe IVs
Earthquake
Gyro Ball
Hypnosis
Stealth Rock

Typical lead/anti-lead. If I think my opponent's lead is a taunter I'll skip SR and go straight to Gyro or EQ. Late game he also becomes something of a wall if I need him to. Shed Shell is there instead of leftovers so that I only have 1 pokemon on my team who's weak to Magnezone (see below) but it could easily become leftovers.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Naive
72 Atk/252 SpA/184 Spe
Close Combat
Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Nasty Plot

As much as I like this ape (and she has served me well in the past) I often find myself skipping the buff to go straight for the kill, so I may replace NP with an attack move (Stone Edge or something). Still, the set has worked extremely well for me as is.

Gyarados @ Expert Belt
Jolly
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Waterfall

I went with Expert Belt because his moveset is good against a lot of common types and I figured it would be a good median between Life Orb (which is better but makes him easy to kill) and Leftovers (which is worse imo). Other than that not much else to say. Gyra is a beast.

Cresselia @ Leftovers
Bold
252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD
Charge Beam
Ice Beam
Moonlight
Reflect

My wall. A more offensive variant since it runs a pseudo-boltbeam instead of TWave. I only really did this because I'm not a big fan of my walls only having 1 attack. Psychic is another option I'm considering since by team doesn't really cover fighting types too well, but at the same time I have 2 pokemon who resist it and a ghost type, so meh (removing Charge Beam would get me ***** by Weavile also). Charge Beam is still pretty decent though and if she's out there for a long time she'll be able to get a few boosts in.

Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Mild
4 Def/252 SpA/252 Spe
Explosion
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt

Standard ScarfGar. My special sweeper/revenge killer. Nothing to see here, move along.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Impish
252 HP/252 Def/6 SpD
Earthquake
Ice Shard
Rapid Spin
Roar

Donphan's role here (other than the obvious spinning) is to also be somewhat defensive since my team lacks a real solid physical wall (aside from Bronzong who can't heal himself). This is generally standard - EQ, Shard, and Spin are all obvious and Roar is there to **** with people and get some Stealth Rock damage going.

Known weaknesses:

Ghost, Psychic - I don't really have a good way of dealing with these since Gengar is weak to both and there are no moves besides Shadow Ball that will do well against either. I could try overpowering them with Gyra but if he dies I don't have many solutions.

Swampert - I herd people liek these and I don't have a very good solution set to him. Similar things go for other various multitypes but Swampert is the best example. Again, I could have Gyrados say "**** you, I'm a dragon" but it really seems like I should have something better.

Well, that's all I can think of right now. I tried to do my best with the typing and coverage and I'd like advice on it.

Going to put my comments in bold under your descriptions.

Also, what part of in-game are we talking? If it's main story, whatever you want is good. If it's the Battle Frontier, read on.

Looks like a pretty standard 'Zong set, but you might want to give it Explosion instead of Hypnosis (because 60% Accuracy), and definitely leftovers. EQ > Magnezone btw.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Naive
64 Atk/252 SpA/192 Spe
Close Combat
Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Nasty Plot

Standard. moving on.

Gyrados @ Expert Belt

Though it's less accurate, Stone Edge hits harder than Ice Fang, and give it Leftovers. After 2 Dances, it'll sweep everything on your opponent's team, so the extra damage from Expert Belt isn't needed.

Cresselia @ Leftovers

252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD
Charge Beam

Gengar @ Choice Scarf

Explosion
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt

Standard ScarfGar. My special sweeper/revenge killer. Nothing to see here, move along.

I'm not really a fan of Explosion on Gengar, because of his low Physical attack. If you can breed for HP Ice, do so (has a base power of 70 with 30 IV's in Attack and Defense.) More detail below.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Impish
252 HP/252 Def/6 SpD
Earthquake
Ice Shard
Rapid Spin
Roar

Donphan's role here (other than the obvious spinning) is to also be somewhat defensive since my team lacks a real solid physical wall (aside from Bronzong who can't heal himself). Standard IMO

Known weaknesses:

Ghost, Psychic - I don't really have a good way of dealing with these since Gengar is weak to both and there are no moves besides Shadow Ball that will do well against either. I could try overpowering them with Gyra but if he dies I don't have many solutions.

Don't underestimate the Scarfgar. As he is now, he'll outspeed everything in the game - the only exceptions are a +Speed Nature Deoxys-E (504 Speed at 252 EV's), Timid Scarf Latias (496 Speed at 180 EV's) , and lead Scarf Jirachi (which has 490 something.) If you're willing to trade some of his offensive power for Speed, I suggest going with a Timid nature (or any +Speed nature), which allows him to reach 525 after Scarf. Also, unless you're running into a Sash Pokemon, Gengar's STAB Shadow Ball+high Special attack is going to OHKO Ghosts/Psychics. The only problem with this set is the constant need to switch out.

Swampert - I herd people liek these and I don't have a very good solution set to him. Similar things go for other various multitypes but Swampert is the best example. Again, I could have Gyrados say "**** you, I'm a dragon" but it really seems like I should have something better.

Swampert is 4x weak to Grass and is slower than Infernape, who has Grass Knot.

Well, that's all I can think of right now. I tried to do my best with the typing and coverage and I'd like advice on it.

Drcossack is right.

I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish with the speed EVs. This puts you 3 points above the 100 base level and below the next pokemon (garchomp). If you're looking to replace nasty plot, go w/ stone edge or maybe earthquake. Or if you're lucky and can get a good HP Ice then that's your best option.

Gyrados @ Expert Belt
Jolly
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Waterfall

Don't use leftovers; they won't help much imo. LO is probably your best option.

K, it's fine I guess. You're focusing almost completely on physical defense, you might want to at least consider a few EVs in special defense or a positive nature for it. But if you llike this set then it's fine I guess.

Gengar @ Choice Scarf

Looks ok.

Donphan can learn ice shard? I never knew that...

The set looks ok.

Don't let TTar get rock polish, but other than that it looks like you've got the weaknesses covered. Pretty good, considering Hidden Power is somewhat out of the question.

@ Dr. Cossack - I already beat the game and I'm playing Pearl so there is no Battle Frontier. This is for online play.

Looks like a pretty standard 'Zong set, but you might want to give it Explosion instead of Hypnosis (because 60% Accuracy), and definitely leftovers. EQ > Magnezone btw.

I originally had Hypnosis on Gengar and Toxic on Bronzong...would putting Hypnosis and Wide Lens (which has worked surprisingly well for me in the past) on Gengar and Explosion on Bronzong be a decent idea?

Also, Magnet Rise > EQ, which is pretty much the only reason I'm concerned about Magnezone.

Though it's less accurate, Stone Edge hits harder than Ice Fang, and give it Leftovers. After 2 Dances, it'll sweep everything on your opponent's team, so the extra damage from Expert Belt isn't needed.
I think better accuracy and type coverage and chance for flinch/freeze make up for it, but the extra damage for SE is very sexy, so maybe I'll test it.

I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish with the speed EVs. This puts you 3 points above the 100 base level and below the next pokemon (garchomp).
Um, that's the point lol? How many EVs could I take away and still outspeed Base 100s?

EQ is an option that I hadn't really considered but I'll think about it. I do have 3 guys who already know it so idk lol. And this is an in-game team so HP Ice is very unlikely.

IIRC, most of Cressie's counters are physical, which is why I put a lot of effort into Defense. I guess if it's a little overkill I could try Calm instead of Bold with the same EV spread or just generally put more EVs into SpD.

Donphan can learn ice shard? I never knew that...
Miracles of breeding lol.

Donphan can Phaze Tar with Roar, and my 3 attackers can straight up kill him with fighting moves/Waterfall and even Bronzong has a super effective move (though with Tar's speed it won't help THAT much). If he switches in on Cressie I'm in trouble, but other than that he doesn't make me piss myself too much. Sand Stream will still be a pain in the ***, but otherwise I just need to hit him first.

Thanks for the feedback!

If TTar gets rock polish w/max speed (neutral nature: 221*2=442 speed) it can take down anything except donphan w/ stone edge, earthquake, and crunch. I'm just trying to be helpful.

8 more, and there's no point in wasting them.

Thanks for the feedback!

Gates: Oh, it's for Pearl? In that case, don't worry about Hypnosis too much - the 60% Accuracy is a change in Platinum; it's 70% Acc in D/P.

I thought the stats looked weird for Platinum.

Edited Infernape's EVs in the OP.
