Hello everyone. I started out maining Marth when I first started smash then moved onto Fox and did pretty well at tournaments. Living in norcal and meeting silent spectre really inspired me to play CF and he's the character I'm definitely sticking with. After playing for a few months with CF, here are some vids. Please rate and Critique, thanks.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=NYs67tgLB9U Nice little combo at 0:46

http://youtube.com/watch?v=vkUpUCAfvqs Not bad ending

http://youtube.com/watch?v=2V24xIWbEL4 Grrrr ending.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=meEUGEi7Puo Preemptive taunt

http://youtube.com/watch?v=SsdFFj8Nnxo Lord owning me.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=WAeKCSSsdh8 Cool 0 - death by me in beginning

http://youtube.com/watch?v=ywHHzgv4slo Decent match, Lord shows off his JC shine skills and teching skills

http://youtube.com/watch?v=p64bgX3q5Mk Lord showing off more of his JC shine crap. He's an amazing falco. He can tech almost anything (with amazing smash DI), and his combos are original..

P.S: BTW, my friend is biased and posted mostly matches where he wins... that jerk...

Man, your falcon is solid. Good tech-chasing. nice 0 to death vs. lord on FD. Also, nice combo @ 0:46 vs. Lord on Kanto.

I enjoyed those matches, keep em' comin!

Nice matches. The only thing you probably have to work on is the gentlemen.

Are you Nigo? Cause you seem to have similar play style. Do you go to the Evergreen Tournament Thursdays?

I didn't know evergreen had tournements on thursdays. I used to go to san jose city college. I attend De anza right now.

I can actually gentlemen really consistently, the problem is that Lord will usually either shield and grab after the knee OR even worse, he crouch cancel smash DI's into me and shines me during the gentlemen, he pretty much made it useless against him unless hes in the air.

Evergreen has Thursday tournaments? that sounds fun, I'd want to go.

ahhh.....so thats what its called.

I'm not actually sure on how to do it. Is there a method to make it easier? Something I should be timing or looking for? Its pretty **** hard to do for me.

Bryant, now that we've got videos of you up, were there any specific ones you'd like on my thread? hehe

Good stuff, we still need to play, but I've been out of town for so long.

RaynEX, I've seen you all of a sudden post like crazy in the Falcon boards, I'm surprised you don't know what the name was for it.

Anyway, here's a link to the guide I wrote on The Gentleman.

I not well versed in the ways of the nippley CF. I've picked him up recently, and decided to get more involved in the forum of one of my new favourite characters.

My reason? (Not that its necessary):

I'd don't main or secondary Falcon. I find him a fun character to use, and at times a good alternative to my Fox when facing a particularly testy Marth or Peach. The DD camping, tech-chasing, d.i following (for combos) and overall speed control required with Falcon helps my Fox game tremendously.

I try not to spam, and to make sure my posts always carry some sort of meaning. I can assure you that I'm not on some post-spam vendetta. I just have alot to say.

nah not yet... prolly in 2 weeks though... those vids were all from a day where both me and him were playing really bad... he just went nuts on recording cause he has no matches online and it was the first time we could actually record matches.

I'll have alot better quality ones with few mistakes and no suicides later =). yeah... we should definitely play whenever your in san jose.

Very nice Falcon. There were a couple of times when you could've U-throw to Knee for a k.o pretty easily, but you'd F/D-throw.
Thanks. If you could give me specific times, that would be nice. Somethings, I can't really see the opportunity or situation to do it.

Like sometimes I up throw and they DI behind me and I don't react fast enough to forward smash, so if you showed me some times where I could U-throw to knee, that would be cool.

But usually, I just assume if they DI away, cf can't really do anything against it.

Read G-reg's thread. It tells you the %s to u/d-throw opponents and knee kill, regardless of di.

That is the kinda stuff you want to learn and internalize.

It's a decent falcon, but Lord's Falco really moves faster than you. I can say you know when you shield though. And that 0-death was pure awesome.
