I play Falco. I dont have a video but if you play falco you can pretty much visualize what I am saying (i hope). Anyways heres how I do it..

Say Im fighting fox

I usually start with lazers blah blah blah until you get to the point where by your opponent right. This is when you usually start a pillar and pressure his sheild because your falco and everyone like to sheild falcos dair right?

Well heres what I do and please tell me if its and great as I do because I honestly think its the best approach I can think of with Falco.

I Shuffle a Dair into his sheild followed by a shine, after that if he tried to shield grab me he would be shined and I start the combo fun, but if he holds his shield thats when I jc grab straight out of my shine! (they may roll away but then just punish)

so its

shuffled dair -> shine -> jc grab

Now this is the point it gets fun, I downthrow (not up you will see why) he will either A. not tech or B. tech.

A. not tech alot of people will not do this because of that amazing show you just put on people will miss this tech. PUNISH EM if its fox grab him again (down or upthrow from there) lol funny stuff or just downsmash him.

B. tech this is tricky cause he can tech either way and its probably the hardest part but you have an advantage lazers follow his tech quickly with lazers. Just like that mofo lambchops. while you pelt him with lazers as he gets up you can oversmash if you can or if you see them panic and sheild you go for the grab.

continue to punish

im just saying this is one falco approach that is fairly impressive and has worked very well for me verus every fox ive ever played

ill post more sweet approaches later

I've seen a few space animal mains use the JC'ed shine to grab on a shield. Btw, why only against Fox? Doesn't this approach have the same applicability to most/all characters?

Yea, well, like Zhu and PC at the least I've seen pull it off. But it requires pretty decent spacing, if you land behind you have to shine turn to JC'ed grab, which is pretty tough to pull off without rigorous practice, especially if you factor in that you've got to l-cancel a dair that has hit a shield, etc.

All in all, this might be a good approach to throw out once in a blue moon, but I don't think a half decent opponent will fall for this time and time again.

The first half of the post isn't anything new. It's a shffl dair > shine > jc grab is a solid approach, but nothing revolutionary. It's not unstoppable, the shine can be shielded and the jc grab spotdodged. But still a good approach. The next half of your post is incorrect.

1. Fox cannot tech Falco's dthrow. Unless you're playing the PAL version, for some reason fox can't tech. For some reason this only applies to fox.

2. Dthrow cannot be followed up. Fox can react before Falco, usually either by DI'ing into Falco and shining, or DI'ing away and up-smashing.

Lastly, this entire post is assuming fox is just sitting in his shield waiting for you to come **** him. A good fox will not allow you to do this. For example, if you always approach this way, after your last SHL, when you begin to shffl dair, they can
1. jump OOS
2. wavedash OOS
3. roll OOS lol
4. do ANYTHING to mess up your spacing then **** you.

Anyways, not bad for a first post, but usually people on smashboards know alot more than newcomers, so coming in with the attitude of "Here's advice for you" isn't a good idea. Asking for advice or reading the self help threads would be much better for yourself and the community.
