Reason: He's just way to popular to not be in Brawl. He's the Chuck Norris of Brawl to the people at this board, and his knee is very because I said so ish. Hopefully it will be nerfed, but he'll be back. Great character.

Reason: He'd be a good second rep for the F-Zero franchise, but when Samarai Goroh was deconfirmed, it's not likley there WILL be a 2nd rep.

Reason: Who WOULDN'T love to play as Viewtiful Joe in Brawl? He'd be such a wonderful character to have! Viewtiful Joe is a terriffic character, who won GOTY on the GameCube a few years back. Terrific character was a no brainer for my roster. To bad he has no real chance.

Tom Nook

Reason: I really think AC deserves a rep, and while I am not really partial or impartial to the Tom Nook character, I can't think of anybody else who would fit the bill.

Reason: At this point, he is the most wanted Nintendo owned character whose franchise isnt already repped. His franchise is the only Miyamoto franchise not repped, and Nintendo recently renewed the Pikmin liscense. He'll be in.

Chibi-Robo
Game Franchise: Chibi-Robo
Status: Unlikely
Reason: A very unique, new character. Completley first party, and a recent brand new, very well recieved game for the DS. Cool overall character, and resizing is a possibility. Has some characters in front of him, so it doesnt look good for the little guy, but I am a strong Chibi supporter.

Reason: I have not played Golden Sun, but to be totally honest, I think it needs a rep. Definitley popular enough, and in the Please Everybody Roster thread, he was the first character voted on.

Reason: I have never played an Adcanced Wars game. But, I am a strong supporter in virtually all, active, well known franchises getting a rep. He is a very popular, desired character, but being from a franchise designed for the Game Boy Advance, a now dead system, could hurt his chances.

Reason: Just look at him! He screams 'cool fighter'. Honestly would probably be one of the most popular characters in any Smash game if included, and would but Custom Robo on the map. And i've never even played a Custom Robo game.

Reason: I have no idea how it would work, but I honestly think this would be a hillarious WTF character. The Brain Age and touch generation games are really major now, and it just might happen.

Game Franchise: The Mystery of Murasame Castle

Reason: I have never played this character's game, as it is Japan only, but I think he'd be a cool character to have in the game. He would be another sword user, but he is a popular character.

Now, this is a 52 character roster, so I am doubt it could happen. It's just my personal wish list, if I was putting the roster together. I really worked hard on this, please dont lock.

I know Lord Marth is a very important FE figure, but really...are his chances that high over the other FE characters? TBH, I think Sakurai will be shooting for a female FE rep. On your list, you have 5 (count em) Pokemon reps. That is on a Mario franchise level. I don't believe Pokemon will get 5 reps. I think Jigglypuff will get in and Lucario will replace Mewtwo. It will be one of the most shocking decisions ever made by Sakurai.

Megaman I would say is probable. Probably the most likely 3rd party addition next to Bomberman. His annivesary this Sunday will tell us just how probable he is, but with the wild sandstorm of rumors that have been engulfing these boards and other forums...its hard not to take notice and wonder...

Ridley....there have been many a debate of how playable Ridley would be in Brawl. I have to disagree with the idea of him being awkward to control. He would have a different playstyle from many others (like the Ice-climbers), but he wouldn't be overly difficult to use. Lets not forget that Metroid, a major 1st party series, is severly under-represented atm. I don't think Sakurai will let this go unnoticed. Ridley is the most popular and recognizable villain in Metroid and is actually the likely 2nd rep for Metroid imo.

I noticed that you listed Wario as the only guy under the Warioware/Warioworld/Warioland franchise. Forgive me if this sounds ridiculous....but I think the chances of a 2nd Warioware rep are pretty decent. Above 50%. Warioware is one of the wackiest series of games ever devised by Nintendo. Its been well recieved and its been on several Nintendo platforms. GC, DS, GBA, and Wii.

krystal, i think you might be over looking the fact that while the warioware series is a fun game the charecters in the game arn't very well known by people who havn't played the series. Infact most of those charecters would be imposible to design a movelist for because... fankly they really dont do much. That one guy dances and theres those ninja girls but really they don't do anything but follow the story line that the wario ware people give them. All in all, i think this guy was on the money when he predicted only one guy from the wario series. I actually very much agree with this list. Just a few things bug me. There won't be five 3rd Party characters, so Viewtiful Joe and Bomberman are probably out, and Megaman will be in if there are any more 3rd Party. Also, I don't think Sheik should return, but that's another discussion altogether. I don't want Dr. Kawashima. And I'm gonna get a barrage for this one, but I don't want Mr. Game and Watch back, because he's basically just comic relief, which is unnecessary for such a game. At the very least make him 3D, to make him slightly compatible with his surroundings. But I don't see that happening with a Picto Chat stage.



Actually, I've changed my mind. G & W is fun every once in a while. But I'd still like to see him be 3D.

I can't help but notice Geno and Bomber Man is your sig... Look, my resoning for a Custom Robo rep is that it is the closest thing Nintendo has to a fighting series outside of Smash. Even if they don't get a rep, they will certainly get an AT. As for Y.Link, he is the latest incarnation of Link in th Zelda series and his model has been used in all the lates Zeldas aside from TP.
Sukapon was planned to be included in Melee, but was then cut. Sakurai later stated that he did not like Sukapon as a Smash character (along those lines).
Black Shadow actually, reflecting on it, might have a chance. He is the most likely OTHER F-Zer rep. He could be based on Ganondorf's Melee model, but with a new moveset. His horns could sub for the Knee (<_<).
As for K.Rool, assist trophy will likely be his fate. Though I withdraw my comment that he has no possibility as being a playable character...
Definitely no Sukapon though!
