My bird needs help

I need waveshining and shine to bair tips.

I really dont think i can waveshine good mainly because i play with the claw (use index finger to jump) ,also instead of L-Cancelling I Z-cancel with my index finger so that my thumb is really close to both the c-stick and B. I dont understand how I do it.

ummm i dont know about fox but I main falcon and play the same way. It feels right to me but I just wanted to know from someone who plays like me if its harder to waveshine with the claw or not
