So I never really beat Platinum BT. I think it boils down to I wasn't good enough. I own all 3/4th gen games, and too me, if I beat Soul Silver, I feel like I beat them all (and then beat 5th gen, etc) Anyways, that being said, I need to beat Battle Tower 100 win streak. I tried to run a Uxie/Garchomp/Lucario, but the problem was Lucario couldn't seem to backup well enough if Garchomp died. So I have three team ideas, and I want to know which one you guys think is best, or give me improvements.

Team I

Timid Gengar @ focus sash (252Satt/6hp/252speed)
Levitate
Shadow Ball
Counter
Destiny Bond
Thunderbolt

If it works right, I could kill 2 with him, at least 1. I got tired of using defensive leads as they get me lost on this 1hko ****.

Jolly Garchomp @ choice band (6hp/252att/252speed)
Sand Veil
Outrage
Earthquake
Stone Edge *
XXX
- Not sure on his last two moves, maybe ice fang or something. Honestly I'm assuming he can learn SE.

Jolly Tyranitar @ choice scarf (252att/220speed/32sdef)
Sandstream
Stone edge
Crunch
Earthquake
(Dunno what this should be, maybe Aqua Tail?)

This is either to come right after Gengar (giving chomp a boost) or at the end for the finish. Chomp/Ttar have that ability thing working for them, so it sounds good to me.

Team II:

Timid Gengar @ focus sash (252Satt/6hp/252speed)
Levitate
Shadow Ball
Counter
Destiny Bond
Thunderbolt

If it works right, I could kill 2 with him, at least 1. I got tired of using defensive leads as they get me lost on this 1hko ****.

Adamant Scizor @ choice band (240hp/252att/16speed)
Technician
Bullet Punch
Pursuit
U-turn
Superpower
- Pretty much replaced with the standard CB Scizor

Jolly Tyranitar @ choice scarf (252att/220speed/32sdef)
Sandstream
Stone edge
Crunch
Earthquake
(Dunno what this should be, maybe Aqua Tail?)

This is either to come right after or at the end for the finish. I love Scarftar<3

Team III
Jolly Uxie @ focus sash. (Not sure on Evs yet, this is the one in the making..suggestions would be nice XD maybe 252Def/252speed)
Levitate
Trick
Memento
Stealth Rock
Thunder Wave

Standard Trick lead, not much else to say.

JollyGarchomp @ Yache Berry (252Att/252Speed/6hp)
Sand Veil
Outrage
EQ
Substitute
Swords Dance

- A set up and sweep Garchomp. Hopefully Uxie allows him too, and lets Ttar be backup.

Jolly Tyranitar @ choice scarf (252att/220speed/32sdef)
Sandstream
Stone edge
Crunch
Earthquake
(Dunno what this should be, maybe Aqua Tail?)

This is either to come right after or at the end for the finish. I love Scarftar<3

I like team one because playing defensivly always gets me ohkoed, but the last team seems viable too. There is a team IV where Scizor replaces Ttar, just if you wondered.

- Sorry for bad typing, computer is acting weird ><.

Wow, I didn't think people still did Battle Tower RMTs anymore. Well, regardless, I respect your desire to get the 100 win streak, so here's my input:

All three of your teams are mostly physical where offense is concerned. You need a little more balance, since after the second Palmer fight, you'll be seeing walls of all different kinds. The Gengar set you mentioned is a creative support option, but I'm not sure how effective it will really be. That's just something you have to test. Keep Scizor as your main physical sweeper...that thing can rip a new *** for a lot of pokes. I've even had my Registeel lose half its HP to a Techinician Scizor from Bug Bite!
Gengar can be extremely useful with this set:

Gengar @ Life Orb (Timid nature)
-Substitute
-Pain Split
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
EVs: 4 Def/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe

The combination of Substitute and Life Orb is generally not recommended due to how quickly Gengar ends up killing itself, but is mitigated by Pain Split.

This is possible only in HGSS. Got it from Smogon. It's actually surprisinly useful. Sub eases prediction, and with PS, he can still survive residual damage from weather. You can read the whole thing at Smogon's StrategyDex. This truly is an amazing and unpredictable set. That might be a good lead, but Wobuffet is pretty sick, too, especially with Shadow Tag, Encore, Counter, and Mirror Coat >w<. That set can nullify the opponent's lead, and you can work out the specifics to your liking. You can also choose a generic lead set from smogon, since the CPU doesn't really use prediction, or even have metagame knowledge.
Now support. Support can come in the form of healing, baton passing, or screwing up the opponent. A supporter needs at least one attack in case it is the last one standing. As you can tell, this is kind of rushed, and I am in a hurry right now. Just pair Gengar and Scizor together and see if you can think of something that supports them both. Sorry I didn't finish, hope I helped :).

P.S. after battle 50, all opponent pokes have perfect 31 IVs in every stat, and some carry moves that they wouldn't normally learn (the latter is rather rare). Just a warning, but u might do it

You're not seriously going to trick a sash with Uxie, right? Use flash over SR. This lets you cripple your opponents to ease setting up. Run max in both defenses or max hp with even defenses. You can even run 1 sdef more than def to ensure porygon doesn't get a download boost.

Gengar is good if you know the every moveset on your opponents. I prefer Trick leads so you don't fold to double team.

I do not recommend that tyranitar if you lead with uxie. The standard ttar for BT looks like:

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Sand: adamant
252 hp, 256 (s)def or atk
- dragon dance
- sub
- protect/eq
- crunch

Protect lets you beat evasion dudes with sand and things like tangrowth. It also drains the PP of fissure and other ohkos. EQ however let's you hurt steels more. It doesn't really matter if you have 6 dances but sometimes you can't get all 6 for random reasons.

I've also heard a curse, rest, payback set is good... But being slow can sometimes cost you. I never tried it so I can't list threats for you.

What would you think of the Uxie lead, the Scizor, and maybe...Garchomp?
