Worked my butt off to get a team like this. Tell me what you think. 1st and 2nd generation is the best, period.

Pikachu

Volt Tackle
Iron Tail
Surf
Thunder Wave

Charizard

Blast Burn
Fly
Dragon Pulse
Iron Tail

Blastoise:

Skull Bash
Blast Cannon
Ice Beam
Protect

Venusaur:

Earthquake
Rock Slide
Frenzy Plant
Poison Powder

Snorlax:

Body Slam
Psychic
Rest
Sleep Talk

Lapras:

Ice Beam
Surf
Body Slam
Psychic

I'm suspecting this is an in-game? If so, this really isn't the place for it, this is competative team rating.
As far as battling in the game itself goes, this isn't half bad barring Psychic on snorlax, and using Poison Powder over Sleep Poweder on Venusaur

Eggmanland, obviously.
Ummm...

I hate to tell you this, but you should read the RMT guide. You're missing a lot of stuff.

EVs, natures, items, etc. It's all pretty important.

Your team has a lot of two-turn moves. These may be powerful, but the turn you spend not doing anything could spell your doom.

Iron Tail and Psychic (especially on a Snorlax) aren't really good moves. Sorry.

Your team is really cool though.
Electivire could 6-0 if he gets a Motor Drive boost from Pikachu
:(

I don't know, I think it's pretty bad for in game as well haha.

I suggest learning about competitive play via smogon.com or any of the stickies here and testing stuff out before your next RMT

What everyone else said. This team is bad. Even for an in-game team. You're missing EV spreads and natures.

But yes, First & Second Generation are the best.

Rating: not good/10

Apparently you worked your *** off so much you didn't read the rules/guidelines.

And I can whip up better teams in PokéSAV or Shoddy without even trying. (maybe a little bit).

And I disagree on the '1st and 2nd gens are best'. 3rd ftw.

Now while you should be reading the rules next time before posting a RMT, I'll say what's wrong, even ignoring the whole items, natures, EVs etc. part.

*worst image you could pick, just get a sprite or something, massive white border on black bg = bad*

Pikachu
Volt Tackle
Iron Tail
Surf
Thunder Wave
Pika is a glass cannon, you shouldn't have Thunder Wave in there because that turn probably just gets you killed. Iron Tail has, like, no coverage, and neither does Surf really. Use Volt Tackle or TBolt/Grass Knot/ HP Ice/Brick Break or something. And EVs and a Light Ball, of course. Modest or Timid Nature.
Also, Pikachu sucks. Deal with it.

*worst image you could pick, just get a sprite or something, massive white border on black bg = bad*
Charizard
Blast Burn
Fly
Dragon Pulse
Iron Tail
Blast Burn: big damage whoohoo, next turn you're dead. Yay.
Fly: fly up 1st turn whoohoo, opponent switches in something resistant, next turn you're dead. Yay.
Dragon Pulse does little damage, opponent attacks, next turn you're dead. Yay.
Iron Tail does even less, opponent attacks, next turn you're dead. Yay.

*too lazy to post a good set, and even too lazy to post smogon link*

Blastoise:

Skull Bash
Blast Cannon
Ice Beam
Protect
Skull Bash: see Charizard Fly comments.
Hydro cannon: See Charizard Blast Burn comments.
Ice Beam: See Charizard Dragon Pulse comments.
Protect: See Charizard Iron Tai- wait, protect doesn't even do anything for you

*too lazy to post a good set, and even too lazy to post smogon link*

Venusaur:

Earthquake
Rock Slide
Frenzy Plant
Poison Powder
EQ/Rock Slide won't be doing much, because Venus' SpA is higher than its Attack. Frenzy Plant is just Blast Burn with worse coverage. Toxic>Poison Powder, always.
Venusaur doesn't really seem to add anything to your team.

Snorlax:

Body Slam
Psychic
Rest
Sleep Talk
Whee, resttalk+body slam Snorlax. We're kinda getting on the right track it seems. Then there's Psychic, which I can't imagine you've ever done more than 5% damage with.
Better option: Earthquake

Lapras:

Ice Beam
Surf
Body Slam
Psychic
Psychic has no coverage. Body Slam is kind of useless. Lapras sucks.

Rating: 1.5/10

Uses mostly bad pokémon, no EVs, no Natures, horrid movesets, obviously didn't read the guidelines.

Ouch, that bad of a team huh? I just wanted to follow the original movesets and Pokes as Red in Pokemon Silver. And yes, I have played competively on WiFi with this team. With wins I have 4 and 6 loses. Is my team really that bad? I guess I'll be better off with Garchomp and other 4th generation to be considered "good".

Apparently the starters learned the elemental Hyper Beams in RBY. Lol.

OXYMORON ALERT!
With wins I have 4 and 6 loses.
Because your team sucks. And 'competitive' on WiFi sucks, too.
Is my team really that bad?
Since you call it competitive without even knowing about natures, EVs, or items (or at least not listing them here), yes things are bad.
I guess I'll be better off with Garchomp and other 4th generation to be considered "good".
Garchomp is Uber. EPIC FAIL

Since you're not aware of the tier lists either, we really can't take you serious as a self-called 'competitive' Pokémon Player. Read the various guides around here or on Smogon, learn about proper natures, EVs, IVs, good held items, good movesets, and Pokémon Tiers.

Also, you don't need just 4th gen pokémon to be good. 1st gen can be good too: Aerodactyl, Dragonite, Gengar, GYARADOS (bolded for importance), Jolteon, Machamp, Snorlax (with non horrid moves), Starmie, Tentacruel, Vaporeon, Zapdos are all 1st gen-representing OU pokémon. Then gen 2 has Blissey, Celebi, Heracross, Kingdra, Scizor, Skarmory, Smeargle, Suicune and Tyranitar as OU reps.
So your 'favorite' gens aren't all bad, you just should know how to use them.
