This is the original and longest running major Street Fighter tournament in the nation and will be held in Nashville, TN for the first time ever June 24-26, 2011!

Official Schedule/Rules:
$20 cover charge to ENTER your first tournament! For example, if you only want to enter SSF4AE cost would be $30, $20 cover and $10 entry) If you wanted to enter MVC3 and SSFAE it would be $40, $20 cover and $10 entry on each game)
THE EXCEPTION to the cover is Super Turbo. $50 covers the tournament AND cover charge if you enter Super Turbo. There is no additional fee. It is $50 per ST tournament.
(10% of each tournament will go towards SBO FUNDING) $500 for each player will be distributed for this effort.

* Items OFF
* Sets are best-of-3, except all Finals, which are best-of-5.
* Ties after the time limit are determined by stocks, then by percentage.
* Wobbling is banned.
* Master Hand is banned.
* Glitches such as IC's Freeze Glitch and Mewtwo's Soul Stunner are banned.
* Stalling with Jigglypuff's Rising Pound or Peach's Wall Bomber is banned.
* Dave's Modified Rule: You cannot counterpick the stage you last won on in a set unless agreed upon by the opponent.

* A player's spot in the tournament may not be replaced by another person.
* No one may make any action that is a clear attempt to distract another player and/or obstruct their ability to interact with the game.
* Any action that can prevent the game from continuing (freezing, disappearing characters, game reset, etc.) will result in forfeiture of the match for the player that initiated the action. You are responsible for knowing your own character, and must be wary about accidentally triggering one of these effects.

Mystery Game Tournament (Will be revealed June 20th)
One(1) dollar entry.
Double elimination bracket, no pools, everyone just gets thrown into a bracket. We will use the game's built in best 3 out of 5 option. Players may request a side to be on and may use ONE THROW of Rock Paper Scissors to settle disputes. Even though it's purely cosmetic, a player might find a confidence advantage being on a particular side.
Onlookers are requested to remain quiet as a tournament room will allow during gameplay so that players may hear and react to both audio and visual cues. Onlookers are permitted to proceed to get hype after a round or match is decided.
1st Place-80% of the entry fees

Anything else noted will be updated in this thread. It is possible we may run Tekken 6 (PS3) but as of right now this is all we have scheduled. Stay tuned for more info soon.
