Music challenge unlockables- no effect

I asked this in the main Q&A ~ a week ago and received no response.


I used the unlock everything code, and everything is "unlocked" as depicted by the challenge screen. All the music is there.

However, none of these songs show up when I try to visit stages on the My Music screen. Is there any way to make these song unlockables usable?

In short: nope.

In long: your "My Music" lists are fully independent from every other part of the save. When the "breaking" of a challenge block happens, the game writes the song ID to the respective My Music. This is a completely seperate thing from the status of the Challenges screen. Thus a code changing the Challenge block ID to "broken" has no impact on whether or not you actually have whatever was in the challenge block.

Easiest thing to do is to find the music reset code, which I'm pretty sure resets the My Music lists to having everything there.
