My brother was going insane XD It's annoying when you get shinespiked. Especially 3 or 4 times in a row LOL

lol @ the first match. Ur brother needs to be more aggressive and needs to live longer. He needs combos and both of u need to be less predictable.

Ur brother really needs to do more phantasm recoveries. He gets shine spiked too easily.

Other than that, good job tho. Keep practicing

You are SO shinepike happy. holy crap. Even to point the where on the stage you'll bthrow and run to the edge to like somehow spike YAYA.

stop doing that man. uTHRW combo. You did a nice one at the beginning of the first match...then you just started doing bthrows while you were in the middle of the stage.

My advice, stop shinespiking until you get some tech skill down. Try edge-guarding with a bair or something. uthrow usmash. &don't ALWYS go for a shinespike. Its not as impressive as you might think it looks. Variation is key in fox play.

Seeing it so much just got me riled up, I apologize :)

lawl. just try to incorporate some more things into your game. i used to shine spike alot, like you.

A very good smasher friend of mine told me to stop shine-spiking and work on your ledge-guarding.

I've been playing competitively for about 2 and a half years. I haven't actually started using shine spiking religiously until a week or two ago. You see...it is useful, but at lower levels of play you WILL get too dependant on it. Don't go to my extremes of not using it, but try to substitute a bair or dsmash ledge-guard where applicable.

If you try to live without it for a week or two, then go back to it in due time...i guarantee your game will be much better because of that choice.

Foxxeh: Your his brother? YAYA?

BIG TIP: To avoid shine-spikes, d.i. away after his bthrow and force him to chase you. Wait a while before you double jump. If you lure him out too far he might not make it back sometimes, and you can most likely illusion back with ease. Try to Fastfall underneath him after the bthrow, then Double-jump. Maybe that'll work? Oh, and try SWEETSPOTTING with the illusion. I had to caps that because its a big thing to learn for fledgeling spacies.

I also saw you do a few SHLs. You want to get good? Well then you have to master that. Perfect it to the point where you can do as many as you want for as long as you want. Its not that hard tbh, a few minutes a day and you'll get it down sooner or later. You will have a much easier time fighting A6M with the SHL. I should know, my most hated match-up is vs. an SHL spammy Falco.

Try to practice your SHFFLS and WDs as well. Waveshines and whatnot come later, as well as the pillar combos. Get your basics, then post vids of your progress and I'd be glad to comment some more.

Next time...in the Falco boards though >_> Hope i Helped.

lol. thats when YOU need to start chainthrowing to usmash. loll. or to death : /

Tell him that if they keep going to high he's not Fastfalling fast enough. Make the whole process quicker and they'll move down to the middle of your fox's body.

it goes SH -> hit B -> REALLY QUICK Ff.

Make sure he gets it down.
