There u have it folks. As most people have already suspected their servers are overloaded and at the moment they do not have the capacity to properly support online play for smash.
I think this is a misstep for nintendo and it needs to be fixed quick. I think a lot of people bought this game thinking they would be able to play smash online when ever they wanted. 1 player mode gets old quick.
I would of felt more comfortable with their response if they said somthing like "we are working to resolve the issue" as opposed to "try again later". Oh well I will give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.
