On the extended cover art and the artwork with all the characters on the Super Smash Bros site, you can see Mr. Saturn between all the playable fighters. Does this mean he will be playable in Super Smash Bros Ultimate?

If anything, he’s probably a placeholder for another fighter, probably around the size of him. If I had to guess, it would be Bandana Waddle Dee from the Kirby series.

He's part of the same layer as Olimar. You can see him in the exact same position at Olimar's side on the game's box art.
