Mr Saturn in the "Everyone is here!" Poster

I noticed that Mr. Saturn is in the "Everyone is here!" Poster even though they were just an item. Everyone else in the poster is a playable character and I think Mr Saturn is the only item there. Why is that? Why is he included?

Yes, we know. It's also really nothing of note. It's one of the few regular Items to be sentient and more of a joke. Nothing worth looking into, really.
