Due to Ice Climbers returning , it is logic that Mr.Game&Watch will return as well .

The fact that the ice climbers are in has nothing to do with game and watch, they are completely different things, the ice climbers were starter newcomers for melee, just as bowser, zelda and peach, maybe people think of them as separate or as hidden or i dont know, cause ive seen a lot of people say that the ice climbers confirmation means that g&w is in it too

g&w was a hidden newcomer, along with mewtwo and marth, and if u analize it a bit, u might find out that g&w chances to return are actually kinda going down instead of rising, why? well, a lot of people thinks that ike will replace marth, and imagine if someone replaces mewtwo, like lucario, it seems likely, right?? that would leave only g&w in its category (hidden newcomers) and it would seem unfair to leave g&w and take out mewtwo and marth, wouldnt it? maybe they would replace him with another wtf character

so no, the ice climbers have absolutely nothin to do with g&w, but dont get me wrong, i DO want him to come back, he is my favorite character!! i love playing has him, not because is fun, but because i love the expression of any good smasher im playin with when i win, like "wtf??? i got beaten by a freakin shadow???" XD

so i hope he makes it back, but dont get hyped just because the ice climbers were confirmed, dont get hyped if luigi and jiggs are confirmed, maybe if we see marth and mewtwo we can assume he will return, but still dont get ur hopes up. i still think he will make it, hes a cool character and theres no real way to replace him

If nethin Ike's replacing Roy and there won't be a clone of Marth or Ike. In terms of Mewtwo I couldn't tell ya, I wasn't a hugee fan of him but played wid him now and then. If brought back i'd like to see a new moveset of sorts, cuz his mental attacks weren't so good IMO. But the only reason ppl think G&W will def. return is b/c IC and G&W were mentioned as possibly not comin back. But yet again I think that was a rumor now that I think abou it. Either way G&W fans unite!!! G&W 4 Brawl!!

I dont udnerstand why people don't think Mr.Game&Watch will return. A characer that has his/her own unique moveset should stay IMO. I never doubted Ice Climbers and I'm not doubting G&W, or Mewtwo!

Mr. G&W is a major character to Nintendo. Removing him is like bullying the Nintendo company. He has to return for Nintendo's sake.

I dont really believe in the whole IC return= GAW return however, I would be dissapointed if he did not return. The things that he has going for him are:
1: He is a wacky/humurous character. Smash games are intended to have a certain comedy aspect about them which is what he brings.
2: He is unique and so are his moves.
3: He is one of Nintendo's more signifanct/older characters.

Very few characters, if any, can fit all three of those standards which is why I think he should return.

This is the man that made Game & Watch possible, know what else he did? Metroid, Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack, Gameboy anyone? Why would Nintendo not honor this man who died in a fashion that can only be reminded by the Final Destination movies?

Ay, at this point I say he's definitely returning.

And why not? He's a great character. Plus I imagine I can't be the only one eager to see what kind of wild Final Smash they cook up for him...


...We're getting a great little 'retro' roster here. Pit, Ice Climbers, soon Game and Watch... imagine if someone like Little Mac or Balloon Fighter joins in too, and we can have NES era matches...

If you didn't know , Sakuria created Ice Climbers and his mentor who died in 2003 . His mentor created Mr.Game&Watch and was the father of all NINTENDO . In the 1980's he came to America ; this doesn't mean he will be taken out . As you can confirm there is a touching story between the success and ending bond of Sakuria and Myomoto and of course there fallen leader in NINTENDO .

Yeah, but his mentor is dead now. So Sakurai doesn't have to listen to him anymore.
