Mowing the lawn in winter/fall is fun because afterwards the grass feels really good underneath your feet since it's cool and fresh. Mowing the lawn in summer/fall isn't as fun because it's hot as balls, but at least the grass is warm and it warms your soul. But, if you can find a spot of freshly cut grass in the shade and it's like 20 degrees cooler than everywhere around you, that's paradise my friends.
And the thought that you have a lawn to mow is pretty cool. The idea that you have your terrain and you must maintain it. I'm actually looking forward to the day that i buy a huge house and get to mow my lawn.
