Motivation for school

Anybody no anything to get you motivated for school. School to me is getting more boring by everday. My mineset is like i'm not going to need this ecxept math and history, but not all the stuff in math. I'm going to be loading packages on trucks for UPS so whats the point. Anybody got anything.

Nothing I'm to busy cuz I have nightschool from 4 to 6. And on the days I don't have nightschool I have to study from 4 to 7.

To be honest, if you seriously never plan on doing anything outside of work with UPS, and they don't require highschool graduation, there is really no point in you wasting your time graduating, unless you actually have some sort of tiny desire to do anything beyond that, it's pointless for you to try and graduate.

You said UPS doesn't require what. HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPLOMA. I don't need to graduate to join UPS.

If UPS requires a high school education, and thats where you want to work, than that's your motivation, that, and hanging out with your friends at school... if you have friends...

Give me one reason why you want to graduate aside from the supposed shame of not graduating, and I say supposed because if all you ever plan on doing is loading trucks, not graduating doesn't sound so bad.


Edit: I think the question should not be "How do I get motivated for school?" and should be changed to "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't drop out!"

Save up some money and then move out, simple solution, you're clearly not getting anything out of school, I'd say finish grade 11 and just end it there.

The important thing is though to make sure you're prepared if you plan on doing it, make sure you have enough money and also make sure you have the job. Don't want to drop out, move out, and find out your unemployed.

Back to the script. I'm going to need motivation again. I say this because i'm not going to have time for a job this year since I have night school for algebra 1A and last years english. My first plan was to wait until next year, get a job, save all my money for my move out.

Listen...in ten years you will regret your choice of not going to college. Money is everything in this world today.

My advice is GO TO COLLEGE. Major in something easy like communications if you're really that lazy. It'll end up being A LOT better than a UPS guy. your choices right now are dumb. Get your act together or your going to be living IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER (Chris Farley)

I went through a phase (actually, still kinda in it) where I didn't want to take any more classes because I knew it would be unuseful after school so I stopped trying at everything. You know what happened? My intelligence started dropping. Things I could do well before like construct clever arguements or do mental math started slowing down. Ack! Heck, I think my jokes have become rather stale as well.

Sure, the stuff you learn in school wont do diddly squat, but you should appreciate a chance to be in an environment which will sharpen your mind. Make every effort to take advantage of school. Dont be like me! Your brain is the most important thing in your body. after your lungs
