I have used Roy for about a year and I decided that I want to switch to a top tier, I know a bit about Marth but I am not sure if he matches my playstyle. What character is the most similar to Roy in terms of playstyle?

Like Ace said, Marth is as close as it gets. But if you don't feel like Marth matches your playstyle, why not just stick to our boy, Roy? Bonus points for sexy fire animations and low tier maining guts.

I think that it depends on why you like Roy. I like him because he's a fast faller with an interesting moveset, other's might like him for other reasons. Why do you like Roy?
