From what I could see Super Smash Bros For Wii U/3DS was a exploding reveal for many people. I mean looking at this video that even when there's no trailer for Smash the fan still go wild at an official announcement of the next game.

So moving from E3 2011 to E3 2013 we all awaited for the next trailer and I'd say it was a great trailer. Time to get to the point though what reveal was the most shocking to you?

Animal Crossing Villager: Man I remember browsing Gamefaqs before any trailers of Smash 4 came about and everyone passed off the Animal Crossing series as they couldn't fit due to the nature of the games. Though he was planned for Brawl but they scrapped him after not being able to figure out how to make the character fit. This was from what I gathered a mixed reaction from most people when he was announced for Smash. By the way gotta love the internet for making this character the next Pinkamena Diane Pie overnight.

Megaman: being the game was probably an lost hope for fans for how much hell Capcom had gave our favorite blue bomber. By cancelling games, not announcing anything and kinda sweeping him under the carpet in hopes that everyone would forget about him. So when he was announced fan rejoiced, people clapped, screamed, cheered, cried, and all around just felt really good that the blue bomber was back in action.

Or the WTF character Wii Fit Trainer from the popular Wii Fit series joining in the battle. People raged, tables were flipped, game boards we're flooded with arguments over whether or not this was a pointless character to add to the Smash series. Over time I think it died down though this character is certainly the Game and Watch/R.O.B of the series.

Well go ahead and vote and tell us why you choose that particular character below.

Wii Fit Trainer seems to be the biggest surprise mostly because not many people we know of even considered her. Sakurai may have said Villager couldn't fit due to his peaceful nature but at the same time Animal Crossing is rolling in the "dough". Lots of people wanted Megaman and Sakurai finally gave them what they wanted.

I think Wii Fit Trainer goes without saying for pretty much everyone.

Smasboards suck
For me Mega Man because after the way Capcom has treated him I thought we'd never see him again.

Yeah I'll have to agree with Wii Fit Trainer. Gotta love Sakurai for thinking up that one which is why I love that guy so much.

The intro with all the characters and their franchises still leaves me in awe.
Zelda, Metroid and Star Fox had my jaw on the floor.

I'd say it was better than the reveal of Melee and Brawl trailers.

I'd say it was better than the reveal of Melee and Brawl trailers.

I never saw the Melee reveal, but that opening cinematic is still one of the best intros in video game history.
Brawl's was incredible too. It was so overwhelming. Especially seeing final smashes and the Nintendog for the first time. And Wario farting.
I was never a huge Snake fan so that never got me as hyped as other people.

Definitely this one had the most work put into it and showed off the most gameplay.
I just loved how they introduced each franchise.
It is something that I've been missing since they introduced all the characters in the 64 intro.
I got more hyped after seeing just the first part of the trailer with Villager than I did for Brawl.
And then the Mega Man video put my hype over the top.
I mean it was ****ing beautiful.
Him throwing his metal blade and Mario Matrix dodging it made my heart stop.

If they put this much effort into the opening intro to really make it epic.
I think they could top Melee's.
Brawl's was cool but it was just Subspace Emissary montage so it wasn't as memorable.
They need a medium of 64's character intros mixed with the pure beauty of Melee's.

An easy, yet tough choice.
Villager was previously said by Sakurai himself to not be a viable Smash Brothers candidate. So anybody that actually knew that had put the thought way past their had.
Mega Man, while basically being on everybody's speculation roster, still kind of felt like a pipe dream. Despite all of the hints given to us by Sakurai preE3, especially when he suggested that a character from Capcom was certainly possible. Probably the most expected of the three.
Wii Fit Trainer- Oh wait, we have a winner.

The Wii Fit Trainer.

I didn't have the same reactions for Mega Man as I am not a big fan of him. I was kinda surprised, but not as much as the Wii Fit Trainer. That was one addition that I never saw coming.

WFT literally made me yell in angry surprise. While Megaman was an awesome reveal and I was super hyped, WFT got a muuuuuch "bigger" reaction from me.

The Wii Fit was a bigger suprise but I was doing my best not to geek to **** out in school when Megaman popped up on the screen. With the The Wii Fit trainer I thought to myself really? That's brilliant! Megaman I was death gripping the desk so I wouldn't make a scene at school (college). I'm 27 I'm to old to be geeking the **** out in a public place.

Wii Fit Trainer. It was like a big flashback to the whole R.O.B situation again.

Didn't really expect Villager either due to Sakurai's past comments on AC characters in Smash, but I can't say it was overwhelming like with WFT.

I was actually expecting Mega Man, but I was still pleased to see him.

Wii Fit Trainer, no contest.
Mega Man and Villager were characters that I actually expected to show up.
WFT blew my mind. At first I might have been a little angry, but she is one of the characters I'm really looking forward to play as now.

Can there be any answer but WFT? Villager, while a dark horse of sorts due to Sakurai's statements on his omission from Brawl, was still a fairly likely choice for a reveal due to hype for New Leaf. Mega Man was Nintendo's only possible way to equal the shock and hype of Snake's reveal and therefore easy to predict. Almost nobody saw WFT coming.
