Most Hyped of its franchise

This thread is for which character you think is the most hyped in some of Nintendo's major franchise to get into Brawl (for characters not announced), to start off (I will list the two I hear the most):

Pokemon: New- Lucario/Blaziken, Return- Mewtwo
Metroid: New- Ridley/Dark Samus
Mario: New- Bowser Jr./Paper Mario, Return- Luigi
F-Zero: New- Pico/Black Bull, Return- Captain Falcon
LoZ: New- Wind Waker Link/Midna, Return- Ganondorf
Fire Emblem: New- Micaiah/Black Knight, Return- Marth
Star Fox: New- Krystal/Wolf, Return- Falco
Earthbound/Mother: New- Claus/, Return- Ness
Donkey Kong: New- King K. Rool/Dixie Kong
Other: New- Miis/Isaac

I will do three third-party characters.

Third-party: New- Geno/Megaman/Bomberman
(Third-party = character that Nintendo must ask another company to use in SSBB, i.e. Geno: Square Enix, Megaman: Capcom, Bomberman: Hudson Soft)

No, Marth isn't basically back yet.

How is Marth not basically back? Unless Roy (ha, that's funny) or Sigurd (possibly, but not as likely) are confirmed, then Marth is the most likely Fire Emblem character.

Black Knight does not have nearly as much support as Micaiah, and I don't see Sakurai putting three swordsman in from a game that has a lot more diversity than that. Odds are against a third character in general.

If we're talking most asked for, at least from what I've seen there's little doubt it's Geno or Ridley. That's kinda obvious, though.

Geno should take the place of Bowser Jr./Paper Mario on this list. and Bomberman should take his spot on the 3rd party.

Other than that, it looks good. Its a little funny to make a fan list of characters that fans are hoping for, imo.


Btw, Marth is DEFINITELY a hyped returning character, so he fits this topic. This topic is not proving that he will be included. Anyone with posable thumbs can understand that.

Well, there's...you know...Ike.

Yes, there is, and all the information we have about him points to him being almost completely different from Marth (and not much more similar to Roy either). (If anyone wishes to argue Marth, click the Marth icon in my signature.)

But yeah, for FE I think Micaiah is the most hyped newcomer. The Black Knight was never realistic, and his hype seems to have died since Ike was discovered to be slower and stronger than Bowser, which was what the BK's supporters expected of him.

For Mario, new is surely Geno. Yeah, hes third-party, but hes also a Mario character, which is where he'll be categorized if he gets in. Bowser Jr and (especially) Paper Mario are nothing to him in terms of hype.

For Zelda, I'd say Midna should be alongside Young "Wind Waker" Link. Both are quite popular but quite contentious (with the redundancy argument against Young "WW" Link and the unimportance argument against Midna).

I have seen little to no Paper Mario support at all, and what I have seen is ridiculous arguments. The WW Link ones are not much better, but he is more supported.

Also, I have seen some Bowser Jr support at least. But... not a quarter of what I have seen for Geno.

I certainly hope Geno does not get in, under Square's name at least. Ugh @ the fact Square might get represented in Brawl.
