Most annoying thing a friend has done while playing games.

I bought Xenoblade on North American Launch Day and was so excited. I just so happened to have a friend over, a PC gamer , the one person you do NOT want to have over at your house while playing a Nintendo console (Sometimes not even a regular console). So I popped in Xenoblade Chronicles and the entire time he kept laughing at how ****ty it looked, I get it, it's a ****ty looking game, but it's full of content, a great world and story and other things that make up for the Middle PS2 quality graphics in a **** definition of 480P.

He kept nitpicking the graphics, particularly when Shulk was eating a meal in the beginning of the game, he couldn't stop laughing, saying that "He's barfing it up" and kept calling the game a watered down MMORPG. I kept telling him he should play the game and he said "I don't play Wii I play PC and Xbox". It was annoying and unpleasant. He was however surprised the Wii could handle the game even at 25 FPS

Eh I'm friends with a couple PC gamers and even then they don't act like those asshole fanboys.
I don't really have these types of problems nowadays, but I remember this one time, one of my friends thought it was funny to hold down the left part of the control pad when we were facing off in Mario Kart DS.

I can honestly see myself this way towards my irl friends, as I usually show no mercy when I play against them

We never have any real issue like this; we just nitpick each other for laughs.

It was, I didn't even know he was a PC Gamer at the time, I mean he owned an Xbox360 and several accessories that went with it such as the text module, 250 gb hard drive, but nope it turned out he was an anti-Nintendo PC gamer, just like 99% of PC Gamers. If they think consoles like the 360, PS3 and even PS4/One are weak, then they're sure as hell not going to be nice about Nintendo consoles.

My little brother has been known to reset the N64 when he's losing at Mario Kart. I thought it was clear that when you choose to play Mario Kart/Party, you fully expect to lose to something completely beyond your control.

It was, I didn't even know he was a PC Gamer at the time, I mean he owned an Xbox360 and several accessories that went with it such as the text module, 250 gb hard drive, but nope it turned out he was an anti-Nintendo PC gamer, just like 99% of PC Gamers. If they think consoles like the 360, PS3 and even PS4/One are weak, then they're sure as hell not going to be nice about Nintendo consoles.

If anything, I'd say PC gamers are more accepting of Nintendo consoles than any other. I'm primarily a PC gamer, and I play Nintendo because they have the best first-party titles, and you can only play them on Nintendo consoles. The majority of the PS/Xbox library nowadays are multiplatform games that I can just play on PC.

My friend thinks he's such a badass because he wasted $3,000 on a Gaming PC. I'm not kidding, where he got that kind of money I don't know, he's 16 years old, wastes his money on Magic the Gathering cards and DLC, so how he got $3,000 and wasted it on a PC I don't know. You could buy all of the Previous gen consoles, Next gen consoles, Next Gen handhelds and every Microconsole for that price PLUS some games to go with them.

Instead he blows it all on one ****ing Gaming PC. If this happened while we were playing a game this would've been the annoying thing I would've put in my first post: A guy spending $3,000 just so he could play generic FPS games and Minecraft on Max settings. Congrats, you wasted $3,000, I've never come close to spending that much on videogames and I own over 100 games easily, unlike him I'm a smart shopper.

Note: I know most PC Gamers aren't like this but the ones I know unfortunately are.

There are reasons to build a PC that would cost that much, but certainly not for gaming. My $900~ PC I built a couple years ago still runs everything maxed out, 1080p 60fps.

No ****, personally I wouldn't even pay $500 or more because you can get a console for so much less, but the fact he used $3,000 to build one...and also my other friends want to do the same thing.

This is why I don't usually make friends with PC Gamers.

Anyway, I find it pretty annoying when someone claims that you are "playing the game wrong." Generally more frustrating when I am playing survival horror or stealth games. If I'm getting through the game, I can't be doing it wrong. That's just silly.

Also, trying to play Dark Souls while sitting in a room of people who have already beaten the game is pretty darn near insufferable, haha.

Ah man, not a conundrum, but I do remember me and my mate play Halo 3 on Legendary. He kept killing the civilians helping us fight the covenant. And being the empath that I am (not really, but I can always pretend), I overreacted and got really angry with him and kept restarting from the most recent checkpoint. After a good hour of repeating this process I said "**** it" and either switched off the console or stopped the level. Anyway back then Halo 3's save system was weird when you played co-op, so we ended up losing all the progress that we made, and had to start the story all over again.

I remember when Guitar Hero was the thing to have, and my cousin would always want to play with me. Whenever we'd start a song, about a minute in he'd either start eating Cheetos or answer the phone or pull my pants down and leave the room. Also there was the time my girlfriend invited me to that party and tackled me whenever somebody passed the Wii remote to me. Literally tackled me to the ground. Good times...

Mario Teaches Typing. I own a copy of it just so I could show it to people and get reactions like "THE ****, There was a Mario game ON PC that teaches typing???" Those old PC Mario games make the CDI game look good and oddly enough no one cared about those like they did the CDi one xP

Anyways, when I was really little, I had a friend spend the night. Well come morning, we're playing Star Fox 64 while my mom was cooking breakfast. We paused the game and went and to go eat. But he said he needed to use the bathroom, and we let him go.
