It looks like Luigi might be somehow footstool jumping on Ness

It could be a collision detection thing like in melee with the "Pika super wavedash". That was when the quick attack clanked a projectile (such as link's boomerang) as the pika passed between it and the ground. Pika's quick attack would cancel, leaving pika on the floor with all of the quick attack momentum.

thats what i want to know >.<, I am not the one playing nor do I have the opportunity to do tests due to lack of the console and game -___-

==================

i tried to look up that pika wavedash thing levitas mentioned but not sure if i found the right thing. It was labeled "pika dart" in this one, but is it the same thing?

OMG this just happened to me the other day!

Look here at the 7th post. My opponent was talking about this. And yes, it DOES have something to do with the footstool, since it hapened there in the vid and to us when he footstooled me. Coincidentally, they were both done ON Ness.

I THINK it has something to do with being footstooled during the starting dash animation.
