GoNintendo called you a hacker. Isn't it hacking by definition when you can access data that isn't supposed to be accedes without being admin or using toold outside of the gme world.

Yeah I saw that. Was kind of amused. All the data dump were done by the real hackers. I'm just an ordinary nerd who downloaded them to look over the various assets in the game. Always was deeply interested in localization and version changes (including cut content). Ive made some conclusions based off of the data but I didn't hack it myself. I've posted more info in the Leaks group about unused textures.

I seriously doubt there will be any DLC announced today. They'd probably wait until after the game has been on sale for about 2-3 weeks worldwide (around Xmas or later). Characters unlocked by the Wii U version though, that's another story.

Exactly, which is why I didn't come here and jump straight into any conclusion like most of the people here.

I bet you get the 'Challenger unlocked' message on the Wii U by connecting a 3DS version which has challengers unlocked.

One person suggested that the message is displayed when transferring secret characters that aren't unlocked yet (For example, Dr. Mario from Wii U to 3DS). We will still get character DLC eventually (99% chance), but I'm not sure about the transfer unlocking.

I'm happy we're getting mewtwo and dlc characters in general.
What we have to deal with now is character speculation throughout the games entire lifespan.
Personally, I hope they just release ridely and spare me the pain of the straw grasping.

I'm REAAAAAALLY hoping this is the case. I have no shame in throwing 5-10 dollars for him for DLC; I think that getting him for free if you have the two versions is a fair perk. Not everyone has both though...like me!!! haha

Mewtwo had a trophy in the 3DS version. This means that requested characters who had trophies such as King K. Rool, Krystal, Chorus Men, Dixie Kong, Wolf and Lucas all have a chance of making it in.
