More "alternate" character spawns like Giga Bowser and SoPo?

For those of you who haven't figured it out yet, if you select Bowser of Ice Climbers and hold L or R while transitioning to stage select, you will spawn as Giga Bowser and Solo Popo respectively.

Question 1: Is there any more of these that I have missed?

Question 2: Do you guys have any cool ideas for more?

I personally think Wario-Man would be nice for Wario, seems easy enough to add with Giga already implemented. Would be cool to see some mega evolutions for some of the pokemon (Charizard, Mewtwo, Lucario) as well, but I imagine that's a lot harder to code.

Apologies if this has been posted, I'm quite new, but a quick search did not reveal a similar thread.

Brawl Falco, Pichu, Waluigi, etc. would likely become popular options. Haven't considered this, but this would probably be the best way for PMBR to implement them and satisfy fans wanting them in the official version, without interfering with the balancing of the roster by making them actual characters on the CSS. Like Giga and Sopo, they could just be funsy alternates.

unless it's something akin to a sopo, they can't just make alternate versions of a character without taking over one of the few remaining extra character slots.

selectable wario man could work, since he's already his own thing, but making a mega-version of pokemon wouldn't be possible without them literally making a new character. if you're thinking in terms of an alt costume (which i don't think you are, from your phrasing), then that could be more simply implemented from just... making an alt costume >.>

Yeah, that's basically why I led with Wario-Man, I figured (mega) evolutions would be way too much work. But I'm a dreamer, and I figured opening the field to theoreticals would make the thread more interesting lol.

That being said, I wouldn't mind the megas as skins.

All the selections are Pokemon biased. But I don't think its logical. Giga Bowser is there is for chuckles, and So-Po is there for the practice of your solo Popo, (least that's what I always assumed.) What you are asking for are alternate characters all together and super characters. I don't see that happening.

Actually what I'm asking for are people's opinions and a discussion. I don't make requests to the developers, I just shoot ideas. As I stated earlier I know it's not likely we'd ever see these characters (except maybe Wario-Man). And I went pokemon based because I couldn't think of any decent "for chuckles" characters that could be included other than some megas (granted I didn't think of Pichu for some reason).

If Wario-man becomes selectable with R, he should become hittable too I think. That's what makes Gigabowser interesting to takes sometimes : he's not invincible.
Also I'd like Super Sonic to become a "playable" character (not just movable) and hittable too, and then a character that we can select with R. (Of course that would require more work but since Super Sonic is originally meant to be played quite normally on the former Sonic games, it would make more sense to me than a flying Sonic.)

Mega Evolutions wouldn't happen anyway. Mega Pokemon are trademarked separately from their base forms, so they're not gonna be added so the PMBR can avoid a cease and desist. They're not adding any characters that aren't already in Brawl in some form. This is why mega Pokemon won't be costumes either.
