I'd actually like to see a few more advance techs implemented in Brawl. I thought the bounce tech from Narutimate Hero 3 would be a nice edition.

Basically if you get hit by a move that bounces you off the ground you can tech it.
The spin tech would be cool too, as long as you can only do it on certain moves (like spikes so you could recover from it, but it would be harder than meteor canceling).

Anyone got any other ideas for advance techs?

Spin teching sounds awesome but if implemented wrong could completely kill combos.
You should only be able to "spin tech" (as you said) on spikes and meteor smashes.

Hey, that game doesn't look too bad..

New techs.... I don't know what would actually be useful, I wouldn't mind having more advanced techniques though.

Come to think of it I think that the instant wake up would be nice too. It'd be the equivalent of ledgehopping, but on the ground. You get up with no invincibility frames, but get up instantaneously. (you do keep your invincibility when ledgehopping, but it's not nearly as much as all the other get up methods.)

An X-dash would be amazing too. Imagine being able do deflect projectiles by simply spinning.

I've so gotta get this game.

Doing a barrel roll is Fox's thing. Spintechs are already in SSBM. They're called "meteor cancels."

I don't think you understand what it is. A spin tech is teching off of the actual attack. In that naruto game powerfull attacks (the equivalent of Smashes) can be teched off of so that you stop flailing instantly. This would be usefull because you could then simply do an attack that slows your momentum like a side B and you'd prevent yourself from being sent flying. It could also be used on spikes because you'd stop that stun animation and be able to react without using your second jump or up Bing You could simply air dodge or side B to stop the momentum because you'd no longer have to deal with stun.

No thanks, the fact stuns are OP is what makes them useful and fun to do where would a Marth player be without the Ken combo I shudder to think

He'd be in the same situation as in the pal version. This would just turn Marth's dair back into a spike, but still allowing people to "cancel" it. It would make spikes techable in midair so there goes Falco's spike, Marth's spike, The Nipple Spike, and Gannon's down B spike.

They'd still be usefull for stage stuff, but it wouldn't be as leathal and a person expecting it could actually do something about it. It'd be harder than meteor canceling because you'd have to hit L during the hit frames, but it'd be possible.

maybe I don't want it to be nerfed because I main Marth and alt Falco and spiking is what I live for...along with SHL and air combo's but it would add a little more balance to the game in a sense I guess
