it means they're changing the system, not losing smash.

Perhaps that means Melee will finally be given the attention it deserves? Personally I doubt it, seeing as their motive for hiding it away from public eye remains unchanged, but I can't see anything else noteworthy they could really do for Smash.

I think "Smash that will take place outside of the Pro Circuit." might mean they are taking it off.

What i'm more interested in is what idea they have for a new take on competitive smash. What hasnt happened?
