MK's nade kill on snake; REVERSED

so during pools in a tourney its 2v1 and my partner is dead.
im snake, and the other two are mk and gaw. and we are all like +100%

i utilt the gaw ( he doesnt die ;[ )
i pull a nade and the mk grabs me.
so he upthrows me and we go right up in the air, right along side the gaw.
the nade goes off and mk and gaw go flying off in the distance... and snake comes falling from the air alive and well.
me and my partner go on to be undefeated in pools. :D

SO, aside from this being an amazing moment, how did this work?

Snake has amazing vertical survivability, I wouldn't be surprised if some good DI kept him from dying.

Controller Ports....you simply had a (lower I believe ) port then the MK
MK grabs, uthrows, and G&W happened to be nearby.

sometimes when snake is grabbed when pulling out a grenade or setting a landmine, everyone except snake suffers from the explosion

Almost certain host = Port 1, First Joiner = Port 2, Second Joiner = Port 3, etc. unless someone drops

This is due to multiple people would have the same port if the above didn't happen for wifi.

Took me 6 tries to get it for the vid (recording myself is so nerve racking D

I can 0>death everyone except ROB (curse his weirdness.....) although I just IBL ROB :3 rofl...

Thats why I use IC as my counterpick. Getting the grab is the hardest part of the round, but once I get it. Kiss that stock (or about 50-100%) goodbye

IC's is such a weird fight for me. I CAN'T take Falco against them. I have to play Snake and get really explosive heavy. If I try to space with Ftilt, I become the MK in the vid you just posted.

Always, ALWAYS keep a grenade in your hand, and a mine nearby (preferably near the edge so they have to CG you longer since they can't go for a spike on the closer edge)

Otherwise, don't get grabbed xD rofl


G&W is a pain to grab (against a real player) but sooo easy to CG:
