Missile Stale inquiry

Just a quick question for you samus folks out there: Does anyone know whether damage staling transfers between ice and fire missiles or are they treated as separate attacks?

theyre different offensive collisions.

So if i were to spam ice power missiles until their damage staled to it's lowest percent and then i switched to fire power missiles they would be fresh?

i have no idea on what stale is based on.
you could of course, start the game and try it, then report back.

Ill even write your test case:

Fire Smash Missile in Plasma Mode: Record Damage
Quit game
Return with same enemy to same location
Fire Ice Smash Missiles. Note damage Reductions
Once Damage is no longer decaying. Switch to Plasma Beam.
Fire Smash Missile: Record Damage

Compare Damage recorded at step1 with Damage recorded at step 6.
Report back with results.

update: missiles don't stale

in fact, nothing seems to stale. I thought the PMBR said they fixed that a long time ago.

Moves don't stale in training mode.

Yeah there's no stale move weakening in P.M. like there was in Brawl.

Stale move reduction works identical to how it did in Melee. Damage reduces, knockback doesn't.

Turns out they are treated as the same attack, so stale carries over between ice and fire power missiles and between ice and fire homing missiles.
