Oh, listen to that music, it... is... the best so far.
It's like the Mario world is a wet towel and it's been wrung out so much that it's the perfect amount of dryness. The only thing I don't like about the song is the Bowsery undertones at about :30 and the trumpet that comes in later. First 30 seconds are amazing.

I wish the 1-1 stage was more colorful. I mean if it doesnt have to be like the original, but look at it now. Its just brown and bland.

I love the look of the ruined muhroom kingdom landscape. This is one of my new favorite stages.

They may be ruins but they could still be appealing (eg have moss growing on some platforms etc).
