The Clearwater Key Club will be hosting a small tournament as a fundraiser at Clearwater's Relay for Life. If you're not familiar with Relay for Life, it is the world's largest fundraising event to end cancer done by the American Cancer Society (More Info Here: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/RelayForLife/RFLCY15FL?pg=entry&fr_id=63708).
The walk itself will last from noon to midnight, but we plan on starting the first tournament at around 4. We will have tournaments for both Project M and Smash for the Wii U (PM will start first). All the proceeds will be donated to the fundraiser and we will have small cash prizes (donated) for each tournament (around 50 bucks or something). Entry fee will be 8 dollars.
The tournaments will be basic 1v1, double elimination tournaments... (Rules for PM here: https://t.co/2T8hHjYd7Z, Smash 4 rules coming soon)
As you can see this is a small ordeal which is mostly for fun and for the cause, although we will have a couple semi-competitive players...
